Melissa & Doug Kids 1-Piece Storage Activity Table and Chair Set, Multicolor

This table was as advertised and a versatile item. We made a Radiator Springs town for our grandson and he loves it. The drawer is big enough to hold several cars. He could use it for LEGOS as well. Hours of pure joy for him!!

Is a cute table for kids, was hoping for better quality. The green panels on top do not lay flat so that’s a problem, they seem sort of warped. The drawer does not open and shut very easily either. Mine also has a nick on the white paint that looks like someone just painted white paint over it to cover it up, for brand new should be free of defects.

The particle board sides are flimsy and the corners swivel a bit. When a child leans on it, it’s going to sway. And particle board pulls apart easily. Also, my table arrived damaged. One corner had a large chip taken out, and another corner was smashed. I’m disappointed in the quality of this table, considering the brand.

The color was great assembly was difficult hose did not match up the two pieces you lay on top of the table. One was warped. It doesn’t lay flat was disappointed with the product.

Usually Melissa %26 Doug is a high quality product. This time I would say that I need to call Melissa and Doug and tell them about my experience. Putting together was difficult and the drawer really did not go together properly.

Very bad quality, not sturdy at all.

The pre-drilled holes are small, making it very hard to screw in screws. The screws for the drawer stabilizer are not long enough, so the drawer stabilizer will not stay on. I don't understand why the top is in two pieces. It does not fit snuggly in the table, even with the bumpers. There are gaps all along the edges or in the middle of the table depending on how the panels are positioned. Also, there is a giant "Melissa and Doug Play Table" sticker (with a bar code and everything!) on the back of the table and it does not come off easily. It's going to be a task to get it off!

This is a very flimsy table with poor materials of construction. Even at a 60% discount from retail price and free shipping, the table is not worth it. Save yourself the time of returning the table back to the store.
