Melissa & Doug Lace and Trace Activity Set: Pets - 5 Wooden Panels and 5 Matching Laces

I bought this to give to my 3%261/2 year old for Christmas so have not yet been able to see all of the cute pet characters, 5 in all. They are larger than I had expected from the picture on the website and will be perfect for little hands learning dexterity skills! I can tell that everything in the kit is solid, high quality and heavy duty, and comes in its own sturdy wooden storage box. Bonus: it is very reasonably priced! I think this is going to become a favorite and not get pushed aside in boredom like many other toys out there after playing with them a few times!

Nice quality toy. I really like the large holes for tiny fingers.

I had to order this for my 4 year old grandson & 2 year old granddaughter because it is a toy I remember vividly as a child(I am 68!). I always loved it & it is great for hand/eye coordination & introduces laces & sewing. The cards are so cute & are a sturdy thickness. A nice, small addition for Christmas & as usual a quality Melissa & Doug product!

Great quality, these sewing boards are going to last for. Great start for sewing, following patterns, matching up colors, and the laces can be used to learn how to tie. Very happy with buy.

I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter for Christmas this year. I am sure she will love it. Just wanting to helper with preparing her for kindergarten in a couple of years. She needs activities to keep her entertained.

These lacing cards were our 4-year old granddaughter's favorite birthday gift this year - she and her younger sister have been playing and playing with them ever since they arrived. Colorful and engaging, sturdy and safe.

My 3 year old granddaughter loves it and has developed her fine motor skills as well. The 18 month old likes to push the aglet through the holes although she does not follow the pattern yet! This is a hit!

This set of cards is great for developing fine motor skills. I bought sets for my granddaughter and two grandnieces. The pictures are attractive and simple enough.

Perfect for a wide range of ages. My 2-year-old likes to try to start threading, and my 4 year old likes to play with and lace all of the animals in the set.

My daughter has severe autism and really enjoys using the shape sorter. It does create some frustration for her however when the pieces don't go in because the box is small and there isn't wiggle room for the one she is trying to insert. It would be nice if the shape of the box would allow for easier insertion despite other pieces being in there.
