Grandson really enjoys any sort of vehicle. This carrier keeps him entertained and helps teach numbers (when putting vehicles on carrier), colors, eye -hand coordination, balance (when rolling onto carrier and placing evenly) and teaches how we receive products. Melissa and Doug toys are well-made and are fun %26 educational.

I am giving this product four stars because overall it is a high-quality and well-made toy. We already own another Melissa %26 Doug wooden truck, and my son absolutely loves them. One of the main reasons I choose Melissa %26 Doug products is because they are wooden, durable, and aesthetically pleasing, rather than cheaply made plastic toys, even if they do cost a bit more. This emergency vehicle carrier comes with four additional vehicles that load onto the carrier, which is a great concept and very engaging for my son. However, the reason for the four-star rating is that the base of the carrier could have been designed better to keep the vehicles securely in place. When the truck is moved, the vehicles tend to fall off easily, which frustrates my son during playtime. Despite this issue, it is still a nice, sturdy toy, and we do enjoy it overall.
