This is really convenient to use! Although the risk of contamination is minimal, I do prefer a sealed product, and this was not sealed. I used it anyway, and it seems fine to me. I recommend this over the jar product.

I like it. So much easier than rubbing the cream/oily stuff that gets under your nails!! This method is by far better. So far seems to work just as well.

I have sore feet, so I roll this on my heels and arch, no more pain in my feet. Maybe a little spendy for the size of bottle, and the amount in it. Using this because they dont make Activon anymore.

This is something that says it will suppress coughs. I don't know if it really works that way. I did Not have a cough. When I got the sample, I tried it without being sick. I have always used a thicker brand that was messy to put on. I like this roll on much better for application! Even though it is thinner, it works just as well and just as long. I like the strength of scent, it is more powerful than another brand. In conclusion, this is better for overnight stuffiness and lack of mess.

I had never actually tried a vaporizing product like Mentholatum before this, although I'd seen similar products in the store, so this was a new experience. The packaging boasts that it contains 100% natural ingredients including menthol and eucalyptus, which I feel is a plus since so many cold and cough suppressants are just loaded with chemicals. The product is applied using the bottle's built-in rollerball which disperses the product evenly across the skin surface as desired. Although it's not supposed to leave a mess since supposedly it vaporizes, there is a little bit of a residue that remains after the product is applied but it doesn't necessarily feel overly sticky nor does it stain clothing. I was surprised at the strength of the menthol scent! It's almost a little overpowering; while it didn't seem to be quite as effective as I'd hoped as a cough suppressant, it definitely clears the sinuses! I was somewhat satisfied with the results. I'm not sure that this would be my go-to option for a "maximum-strength cough relief" medicine, but it does at least help somewhat. While I did not have a cough, I used this product as a topical analgesic (also recommended on package). I have a condition where I suffer chronic inflammation of my collar bone. I have used other products and decided to try this. It worked pretty well, It was a bit on the greasy side, I didn't like that. I was expecting a stronger menthol smell but it doesn't smell very strong. I think the stronger smell would help with a cough/stuffy nose. All in all, it's an okay product but I have used better. Product works well enough but arrived mangled from the delivery process. Apparently the delivery truck ran over it instead of transporting it. Won't order again.

Easy to apply. However, even though I rolled it on several times to get maximum product applied, I felt that there wasn't really much on my skin. Usually I can feel the product working when I use the rub-on version (a sort of warmth with a good menthol scent) but with this product I didn't get that. Not sure if it will affect how it works, but I did notice a difference of that sort. As I wasn't sick at the time, it's hard to tell if it would really improve coughs, etc. In the future, I might play it safe and buy the original. Don't even waste your money on this product. I bought it and it doesn't even do what the product says it will do. The bottle felt almost empty and well enough said. DON"T waste your money on it.
