I purchased this interface as soon as I read about it. Lens fogging and awareness of my surroundings while using VR has been a problem with all of my past headsets. This interface solves those issues. Compared to the facial interface that is included with the Quest 3: this one is is less stuffy, feels much cooler during use and the lenses don't fog up anymore. The open sides allow you to navigate your surroundings easily while in VR. If you experience lens fogging or need to see your surroundings while using the headset, I would purchase this right away. This is the best interface available and should have been been the one included with the Quest 3.
I was looking for a means to have more peripheral vision while using the Meta Quest 3 and this worked perfectly.
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, I`M GLAD I CHANGED THIS OUT ON MY METAQUEST 3.. I HAVE NOT SWEATED %26 FOGGED UP THE LENS SINCE REPLACING TO THE OPEN FACIAL INTERFACE STYLE...
It is a good option for those who get nausea when playing with a fully sealed faceplate. This is less immersive but immeasurable more breathable and comfortable. $39 is too high a price
it's really good so far, i like being immersed in VR but I don't see the point of that if it's going to be really uncomfortable. this one helps a lot with making the session way less sweaty. it's not perfect, I'd have prefered the "breathable" 3S interface but I only have a Quest 3 and for some reason Meta didn't make that version for Quest 3 but it's still pretty good.
Purchased to replace the solid piece so that my son stopped walking into things.
