Metabo HPT 10-In Single Bevel Compound Miter Saw, C10FCG2

Miter saw was simple to use and built with features that met my needs and expectations. Easy to setup and maintain. I researched this product and found out that the craftsmanship is on par compared to other brands and was highly recommended. After using this saw on one of my DIY project, I highly recommend this Metabo miter saw.

I am very happy with it. It is very accurate. One major problem. It is very hard to remove the existing blade because the arbor nut is stuck due to the paint on the nut has dried the nut to the arbor washer and will not release. I chipped the paint off the nut/washer and the nut released for me. It appears to me that this is a production problem and needs to be fixed.

Really like the saw. Happy with the purchase. Light weight - easy to transport. Clamped down on a heavy free standing table while using. Great blade - excellent cuts. Used on wall and floor trim +. Was a replacement for another left behind during a move - like this one better. Would recommend if asked. Only issue was a non functioning motor brake. Enjoy and be safe.

This saw is perfect for my needs as a handyman contractor doing light carpentry What really stood out about this saw is that the miter stops are SOLID; no play or wiggle at all. Also, it has a very easy to use miter locking setup that you usually only see on more premium saws. Now keep in mind it is a single bevel saw without slides, so your total cut length and utility will be limited. It is a saw meant for portability, not full functionality. PROS: -REALLY solid positive miter stops -Ergonomic miter stops -50 deg miter (better than the usual 45) -LED shadow line - not a great line, but nice to have on an economy saw -Power and construction are good -LIGHTWEIGHT - very good for portability -5 year warranty is pretty darn good CONS -Single bevel (typical for economy saws) -No positive bevel stops (also typical) -Chop only, no slides (limits cut depth) -LED line is nice, but only OK; I usually do confirm blade placement by actually touching the workpiece with the blade -No other bells/whistles/features - but that is part of what keeps it light.

Great saw this is my first compound saw, I should have bought a compound saw twenty years ago. This saw just changed all my wood projects, this is a great little saw.

It runs good and cuts great this is a good vale for your money i would recommend this product to people who like good quality and\n Nice looking, too.

If you are looking for a nice mitter saw this is the one you need it has light and a perfect balanced size for carrying it.

The saw is high quality and works very well. Even the blade, which normally sucks when included with a saw, is actually a quality piece.

It's a great saw, but too light. saw needs more weight or you have to bolt it to a table. the dust collection system needs a better design. Too much dust with the bag or small vacuum.

Had to take first one back to store for exchange. Blade shaft moved more than a blade width when motor energized. so far so good with new one.
