This tool is great for a single use project,(my goal)and anything after is gravy. don't push this tool like a high end piece and you will get good results. My finished project looks good and that is what I wanted from this tool. It is easy to set up and use as well as having a wide selection of bits.

My retirement hobby is buying cheap electric guitars, and rebuilding them. sometimes I change the complete setup. This requires me to router extra room in the body to fit the new pickups. This router is perfect. It has plenty of power, and you have complete control.

Decent tool for the price. The only issue I had while using it to cut dovetails for a dog couch I made today was the adjustable height mechanism. The casing and gear are plastic. If you don't tighten enough, it slips while using it. However, ifnyou overtighten, the plastic will crack. You have to find the sweet spot
this is a Christmas gift so I don't know how it works yet but this is what he wanted I'm sure he'll be happy
unit runs and cuts decent but while rounding over some 3/4 wood the small screw that holds the guide bearing decided it was tired and left the job and allowed bit to wander
I haven't used it yet but the instructions arent written clearly. There are several ways to use the attachments that require removing plates, attaching guides, gaurds, screws etc. Until I have time to spend an hour trying to deduce the instruction for my own safety, it sits.
The depth guide does not remain locked in the desired position no matter how much force you use to tighten the knob. This faulty design makes it a useless tool when making precision cuts.
