Hyper Tough 3 Piece Wood Chisels with Striking Caps

I read all the reviews, as I've never had a chisel, and almost didn't get them because of the reviews had said they were not as sharp as they needed to be. I found that to not be true. they worked perfectly to chisel out space in the door for the hinges, my 13-year-old did it. they are strong and you can tap them with a hammer on the end and they're very sharp

they are actually really sharp I found out the hard way make sure you wear gloves to protect your hands and eye protection because chips will fly. I've used it on three Dyi products already handle holds steady and there are no chips in the blade ywt

They did what I wanted them to do. I used them as a plane, and the edge stayed sharp. I doubt they'd hold up if I had to chisel with them, the steel is not very hard. These are a good value for light work. But not near professional grade.

i thought that they would be ready for use when delivered, but I had to touch up with 1000 grit diamond whetstone, and then hone to get them to stop tearing out on pine. Seem like good metal?

Product is not performing as expected. I'm only installing hinges and door hardware on Masonite and wood and 2 of the chisels have nicks and seem dull already. Should last a long time doing this type of work. I would not purchase this product again, rather spend a little more for better quality.

There's nothing good to say about these chisels. The best thing I can say is that they are good for scrap. The handles are ok and that's about it. They were not sharp when I bought them. When I tried to sharpen them, they wouldn't hold an edge, they had to be resharpened after every cut. Don't waste your money on these.
