would recommend buying
I used them in the front doors of my 9th gen impala. they just plug right in and they already come with wire connectors at the end for easy attachment to the speaker. ive had them in for a few months now and they've held up i drive it daily.

Worked great
These plugged right in to my suburban wiring harness. The plugs for the speakers are different sizes too, so I didn't have to try to make sure I got the positive and negative on the right one. Best of all, I didn't have to tap into, or cut off the harness that was already there.
