Metroid Prime™ 4: Beyond

I enjoyed the original Metroid Prime so much and am very fond of it. This comes close to the feel of the original and so far it's one of the better games I've played that have been released lately. Considering all the chaos behind the scenes in production of this game and the YEARS it took it came out really great! I've heard mixed opinions but personally I believe the game delivers on the feel of a proper Prime game!

it's a great game from the Metroid series! this is the first time we've gotten other characters to interact with besides our computer or enemies, which is nice to see Samus interact with others - although, like Link in the Zelda series, she is [still] mute

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is a retro first person adventure. Samus is on the planet Viewros, and has new psychic abilities to manipulate objects in this new game. Samus embarks on different missions where she explores various regions on a motorcycle, solves puzzles, and engages in combat.

After seeing critic reviews I was really nervous for this game. I love Metroid prime and didn't want this game to be a let down but this game EXCEEDS ALL EXPECTATIONS. Amazing. Also the sidekick isn't too intrusive after the intro so don't let him prevent you from the best game in 2025

Finally the game has been released after being announced early in the switch lifespan. The game delivers what you would expect from the series while doing some new things to differentiate it from the others. Although it's not my favorite in the franchise it's still a great entry in the series.

It plays great on Switch 1! The graphics are on par with and in many ways better than Metroid Prime Remastered. I'm only a few hours in, but so far there have been no bugs or frame stutters at all. The gameplay is smooth and very fun, just as you would expect from a Metroid game. So far it is a little different. It doesn't have quite the same isolated feel and exploration feels a little more guided than past Metroid games, but it is an excellent game in its own right and still feels like a proper Metroid game. If you like Metroid or adventure games like myself, you will love this game!

got the game on time and well delivered as for the game: it's pretty good on the OLED, smooth gameplay with decent graphics, beautiful and lush environments. The controls are pretty straightforward but I feel like the aiming and lock-on felt better in the prior titles. The psychic mechanic is pretty cool, nothing really game changing tho. Not to fond of the uneeded side characters, extra dialogue and the boring desert area but otherwise it's a decent title. That being said, the original Prime in the series is a much better game overall (in my opinion) I would happily still recommend Prime 4 to any Metroid fan

great game, best graphics. a bit hard to follow on the game itself. but over all definitely better then the older metroid games.

After 8 years of waiting for this game. It looks good even for the Switch being as old as it is. Game plays well, nintendo really did good to let this game cook for as long as they did.

I liked the gameplay, but the story was short and somewhat anticlimactic with a little backstory. It could have included more about the story that led into the main game or inclusion of that bit of story line. Overall I still liked it, just underwhelmed by the game.
