Super smooth. I love this clay
I have only been a hobby potter for a few years and have been driving 1 1/2 hours each way to get clay since there is no place nearby to get clay. I usually use Laguna B mix which is similar in color and throwing . This clay is very smooth and easy to throw. I love that it is free to ship to my house and is super smooth. I'm in love!

very easy to use. i fo recomend. for beginners especially. a bit gritty but can be sanded but i like that all natural of the earth texture.

The amount of the total block of clay was not nearly as large as I anticipated.

It contains some sand in it so that some of the surface is not smoth after it air- dries.

You delayed my shipping with very little warning. Didn't get here until AFTER I needed to use it in my clay pottery class. I want a refund
