Mighty Mint Rodent Repellent/Deterrent Pouches, Peppermint, Cinnamon & Castor Oil, 5 CT

My son moved into an old farm house that was full of field mice. He tried for two years to get rid of them. They were so bad, the noise would wake him up at night. He placed the peppermint pouches around his house, then left for the weekend. When he came back, there was not a mouse to be found!

I was skeptical on whether these would work or not, they seem to be an excellent alternative to the standard mouse trap for people that don't want to deal with the traps.

A friend told me about this product, I was skeptical especially after reading some reviews BUT they WORK! This is how I did it. You have to use them the right way. First you gotta clean up the rat droppings and rat urine. I used baking soda to sprinkle all over the rat droppings in rat urine waited a couple of days and then cleaned it up. Then place these pouches in the areas where you've seen rat droppings or you know there's an entrance they're coming in at. My rat problem was starting to escalate even though I have cats they weren't getting them all. The rats were getting in my attic. Now I have none. Don't let these little pouches fool you they pack a punch they are very strong but not strong enough where it will bother you or any animals. It's actually a very nice clean fresh smell.

Used these in my vehicle as the mice were getting into the back seat somehow. I stopped them from coming in-so I tried it in the bathroom as they were under the cabinet in there also. It worked to keep them from coming in as they hate the peppermint smell.

Choosing a rating for overall review was difficult, because I've tried MANY different supposed repellent pouches and in my experience, they all do the same thing, which is to say nothing, apart from making your home smell nice for a little while. So one's the same as any other one. To address the quality of the product in a physical way, the pouches are nice and the fabric doesn't allow bits to move from inside to outside. They smell nice. I just don't see that they are effective for anything other than a couple days of nice smell. That is why I don't recommend them; your mileage may vary.

These packets didn't work at all. I put them in some house plants hoping to keep the mice from digging in them. They dug under the packet in one plant and kicked the packet over on top of the mouse trap in another. I also had 2 in a closet the mice seem to like. The mice tore them open and ATE the stuff inside! what a waste of money.

I put 3 pouches in areas I have had issues with mice late in the afternoon. The next morning mice droppings were everywhere! This product is useless. Do Not spend your money on it!

Does NOT work...at all. Waste of money. Tried in my garage and shed where I get mice. Didn't deter them one bit, and the smell....even in the garage is overwhelming at first. Dissipates in a day or so, and I could live with it, it's a very strong minty smell, IF IT WORKED. But it doesn't. Useless. They only thing I can do is set traps, which is an ongoing chore. And I don't even like killing mice but have to or they'll take over.

This product is a total waste of money!!!! The first night I placed the packets in each area where I had the mice problem, in the morning there was still evidence of mice activity %26 everyday thereafter. This PRODUCT IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!
