Our almost 4 year old grand daughter loves playing it. it is easy for her to understand the rules great fun
It's a traditional Cootie game from 25-30 years ago. It's missing one head piece. So only 3 of the 4 cooties can be made. I asked for a replacement piece. Was told I'd be sent one. Haven't received it yet.
Over all this is a fun game. The only problem that we had was that the heads kept falling off the body. This can be frustrating especially for the younger ones. Eventually we just taped them together and that worked out fine. Fun game!
When I ordered this, it was on the Walmart on line website and purchased as a gift and was expected a New game. Please send a return label. Thank you Theresa
the items are different than traditional cooties however the parts are not easy for children to put in and out
this item was bought through the third party person. the add shows it as being new when in reality it was used for years. it was also sold at the price if I bought it off the shelf in the store
This game is a far cry from the original. First of all, I was glad I opened the box. All the pieces are in halves and need to be snapped together. Then, none of the parts fit together properly and the legs especially keep falling off. That can be very frustrating for the little ones who want to see their Cootie all together. Very disappointing!
I loved this game when I was a kid and it was made MUCH better then. I bought this for my nieces and we couldn't even play with it because the pieces wouldn't stay together. I threw it out. The only reason I didn't return it and get my $ back was because I lost my receipt.
I bought this game for my 3 year old son to teach him the fundamentals of taking turns and following game rules. I fondly remember the Cootie game from when I was a child, and wanted to share that joy with my children. Unfortunately, the 'fun time' with my son ended up being not very fun at all! The small yellow pieces won't stay in place. They keep falling out over and over causing no small amount of frustration for an impatient three year old (and for his Mommy who kept trying to 'fix' them.) Before the game was over, I simply apologized. We boxed up the Cooties to return it to Walmart tomorrow in favor of another game. Memory, perhaps?
It is very hard for kids or adults to tightly insert parts into the bug body. Most parts keep falling down. One time I tried to fasten a leg, then the matching hole in the plastic body got split. I had to help my son too much, so he got neither fun nor experience of composing.
