Peak performance and no drama
All the punch, none of the intimidation. I'm petite but very comfortable around power tools, and one thing I've learned is that bigger doesn't always mean better. What matters is control — especially when you're mid-project and something isn't cooperating. I have M18 tools where the extra power makes sense. But a Sawzall is usually a “we're in a situation” tool. For that, the M12 is perfect. Lightweight, easy to maneuver, and strong enough to get you out of a jam without feeling like it's trying to run you. Clean cuts? Use a bandsaw. Controlled chaos? This is your girl.

Highly Recommend
I"ve used the M18 hackzall at a maintenance job and at home for years. i now have the M12 both places. its lighter, takes up less storage and the power is very comparable!
