It is a real Milwaukee battery.
The real thing. Milwaukee sells only through authorized distributors. The warranty only applies to items purchased through these authorized distributors. Univa Trade LLC (aka UnivaDeals) is not an authorized distributor. I will take my chances on that.

This 5.0 Milwaukee battery is working great. I bought as an extra for a half inch impact and a leaf blower.

I like the value. Even though this is not their highest technology battery it will get the job done. If you're looking for more power consider getting a forge battery.

Package had been previously opened, so I assume it was a return and hence the lower price. So far it is functioning well. Had to charge battery before first use. It powered my Milwaukee LED spot/flood light well on the medium setting for a couple hours and it still had 3/4 charge remaining. Hopefully it continues to perform well.

Good Battery, bad packaging
Advertised as clamshell packaged but what showed up was just a battery in a box, could have been used for all I know, not sure i would have purchased it if I had known what I was getting was not "retail" packaged

Walmart service and order fulfillment was AWFUL!!! Milwaukee Batteries are AWESOME. Just don't order through Walmart.
