This is our finish spray on about every designed wood bowl we make . Drying time is great and the finished look is super ! If you have a craft try this on bird houses, wood bowls or wood objects. Get the best finish you can get on wood and be proud of the finish.

I have been a long time user of all Minwax products. The stains, polyurethanes, including Polycrylic and wipe on poly. I started using the spray polyurethane on several small projects a few years ago and I absolutely love it. If you follow the instructions and do several light coats 2 hours apart, it will give you a professional looking finish on all wooden surfaces. I've used the satin, semi gloss and the gloss. I haven't been disappointed yet. I love the way the spray nozzle turns to spray horizontally and vertically. I have had no problems with the nozzle clogging, even after storing cans for several months. I am a fan of all Minwax products and I plan on using them for many years to come.
I'm a fan of this product. I put on a coat, lightly sanded with 220 grit then put on a second coat and it is very good, nearly perfect. As others have stated, the odor is fairly obnoxious, especially the first coat on bare wood. My project is out in my shop so that's not an issue. It takes about a week to disappear. The spray can product is worse, might take two weeks. I can see coating an entire floor in a bedroom you may need a gas mask. The first night I could smell it from outside my shop after the doors were closed within about 10 feet. If this is an issue for you Minwax makes a water based Polycrylic which is almost odor free but I find it a bit more difficult to get good results especially on pine. The polyurethane is simpler to use in my experience.
My first experience with Minwax products was back in 1985. I built a new primary residence and acted as general contractor. The company that finished the hardwood floors used Minwax stain and topcoated with Minwax semi-gloss polyurethane. Man did the floors look good and the durability was excellent! I have since built three new homes and renovated one. Minwax products have always been used and my number one choice for ease of application, appearance and durability. Being an avid woodworker, I also use Minwax aerosol for small projects and touch-up. Minwax and wood go together like soup and sandwich.
This spray worked perfect on a think 8" diameter branch that we cut and then agreed with tea and light but if stain. the blended colors of the wood showed good. once this was applied, the colors really came out. the gray skin like bark darkened to a burnt color that really made it stand out. Did so good, we are using it to hold our rings in our wedding.
Thank you very much. I love shopping at Walmart.Com. Everyone did do a good job even attract over that doing a good job dropping off everything at the front door.
the spray on urethane is the best time saver that Minwax has created so far. cuts application and drying time by eighty percent. here are some of my wood carvings I have used it on.
Could have covered better. A pint can will go further. You cannot tilt the can much or it will spit.
Can't use possibly contaminated products all poor packaging
