This product has changed over time. I purchased a few bags over a year ago. It was a nice rich black dirt with some small pieces of bark. I purchased 2 bags this year at different times and both bags were a lighter colored dirt with huge pieces of bark and sticks. And my plants are not thriving as well as they did last year. I give last years dirt 5 stars, but not this years. The formula has changed. It may be fine for potting large house plants, but it is not suitable for transplanting your veggie seedlings into containers.
