Expert Gardener Kwik Grass Seed Mix, Grass Seed for Sun to Partial Shade, 3 lb.

I actually just seeded today, I raked the area I was going seed, I just threw it by hand then I slightly raked it after- then I did toss some top soil over the whole area. I've got to say I did not know that you can seed with this and wait till it sprouts, then I can seed my clover. The grass will help keep the clover seeds in place and magically the grass will die after a year and the clover I wanted will be left growing. I'm glad I bought a second bag, now I need more for the side of my yard. Can't wait to see green!

I got 6 months of lush green grass all winter in the desert southwest where nothing else grows. It is not meant to be permanent grass, the bag says 3 months. I initially used it on bare spots and it worked so well I decided to sprinkle it into all my grass. I didn't add anything, no top soil or fertilizer. I sprayed it with my hose for 2 days. Even with water restrictions it sprouted. I didn't do anything to it, I just forgot about it. It is bright green. Now I add it every 3 months because it looks nice.

I have a hill that is so hard to get grass to grow on. I've tried 5-6 different types of grass over the past year. I got this and literally tossed it out by hand after a rain. No taking. No covering. Nothing and a week later I have baby grass! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This grass is easy to grow! It fills in a bare spot with nice thick grass but it is a more tender/thinner grass so if you're looking for a thicker stalk one this might not be the one for you. I like it for a nice soft grass in my yard for my kids to play on. This is the second time I have bought this bag of grass seed since my dogs kill areas of my yard and this is a easy way to correct the dead areas.

Looked a bit odd out of the bag as it is bright green, but that actually helped us see where we had enough and which spots needed more. Since web site fails to disclose the ingredients, I have included a picture of the contents label on the actual bag. 50% of the weight is "Coating Material." This is a moisture-wicking layer to help seeds germinate, but it means only about half the bag is actual seed. As summarized below, the seed is mainly ryegrass. * Gulf Annual Ryegrass (36%): This is the "Kwik" part of the mix. It germinates incredibly fast (often in 5-7 days) and provides instant green. The Catch: It is an annual grass. It will likely die off once the summer heat hits or after the first hard frost, depending on when you plant it. * Integra Perennial Ryegrass (6%): This provides a more permanent solution than the annual variety and has a finer texture, but it only makes up a small portion of the mix. * Minuteman Festulolium (5%): This is a hybrid between ryegrass and fescue. It's bred to have the fast growth of ryegrass with the better cold/drought tolerance of fescue.

Best grade I can give it right now based on all the seed brands I've purchased over the years. I haven't found one yet that has grown grass in a short amount of time.I am going to cover it with straw this time,that might be what I've been doing wrong 🤔

did exactly what the instructions said, and the grass seed did not germinate into grass. many comments say you see growth in a week; i waited a month and still nothing. another product from Walmart where the majority of good reviews are fake spam reviews. cannot say enough not to buy this
