Received as purchased. Easy operational instructions and it works great. Includes batteries and they are easy to install. I like the fact that it lights up and offers both surface temperature (great for use in kitchen while preparing foods) I temp cooked items with it at the surface level (make homemade dog food) and sometimes they want it right out of the oven, so I temp it first. Also have done my own food as left to cool on the counter before refrigeration. It reads for normal temp taking too! I'm at 98.6 lol several times, flux 98.4, 98.3 so I know the accuracy is there. I love the dual purpose! The grip is easily hand held and comfortable. Great buy in my book!

I didn't need this for an infant or toddler. I bought it for myself. So far it seems to work great. It's super fast. Much better than the old mercury thermometers! The readout is clear, the instructions are clear...great so far!

I wanted an easy to use non contact thermometer to keep tabs on my family's health during this pandemic. I looked at several for comparison and decided on this one based on positive reviews. It does not disappoint. Very user friendly, reasonably priced and shipped fast. I have recommended it to several people.

This is a light weight, easy to use, non-contact thermometer. One feature I like is that you can hold the thermometer close to a forehead and record the temperature without disturbing some one who may be sleeping. This is especially beneficial when the patient is a child. It also displays the background in different colors to notify you if the temperature is normal or high.

Absolutely fantastic. Sample to use. Wish I had something like this when my kids were younger now using it for grandkids

the thermometer looks good, nice ergonomics. I was actually purchasing for a spanish speaking friend. the instructions are in english only. they're going to have to try to get the instructions translated. also, i was looking for a thermometer which has readings in both F and C. , which this does. they just have to learn how to operate the thermometer. I hope it's not too cumbersome.

Definitely feels cheap, and very concerned about its accuracy. We tried it immediately and all 3 family members showed the same temperature. I purchased this for my son to use in college. The instructions are poorly translated English, made in China.

I don't really like it. You never really know what the temp is because It reads different every time you point it, even if you point it at the same person. It doesn't turn off even when you push the button and it says off and yes I'm thinking I should have spent a little more on a better one. Walmart has a lot of these online so don't pick this one.

Out of the box, the instructions are in extremely small print, done in a gray not black color and very hard to read. However, the one star rating is because the product did not turn on when the batteries provided in the box were installed. Subsequently, I have purchased two additional packages of AAA batteries. The thermometer will not turn on. Even though there are very small hard to see symbols ( ) and (-) next to the where the batteries are to be loaded, I have tried all four potential configurations using batteries from all three packages of batteries. It just does not work. Days ago I wrote and asked for help. None there. Apparently a poorly constructed product but very poor product support both hard copy with product and trying to ask a question.
