Wow… I had bought multi-packs of Modelones gel polishes before, and really liked them. I used their base coat as well, but prefer Sally Hansen's Miracle Gel top coat over theirs as it's shinier and harder, and dries faster under the UV.
This individual gel polish looked nothing like the color pictured on this website. The pink is so pale and flat it's almost white. The polish is VERY thick and tends to glob when trying to spread it evenly over the nail… and it had particles of who knows what in it. My nails were pristinely clean when I was polishing them… so these “woobies” of whatever did NOT come from my nails. 💅 They were IN the bottle of polish. I kept cleaning the brush, wiping the neck of the bottle to no avail.
This is the absolute WORST manicure I've ever given myself, and I've been doing my own nails FOREVER. These are also MY own nails, not artificial ones. (Not to say that if I tear one off-OUCH- I don't put one on and do the acrylic thing, I do until it grows out)
I take great care to maintain a clean surface with which to apply all the layers a good gel manicure requires- the base coat. Then UV. The polish. UV. The final top coat. Final UV. This polish was SO FRUSTRATING! I'm going to just toss it out, as I doubt I can return it. I don't know if I'm going to buy this brand again after this, as I really don't need to get the tiny bottle multi-packs again… I still have several bottles of the dark colors I don't wear. Y'all can take your chances. Maybe I got the only bum one. I don't know, but I'm done. Take me outta that oven! I got burned by Modelones!
