Easy to install. Worth the extra pennies for Moen brand.

Showed up at the door in a Home Depot box, looked on Home Depot and it was $10 cheaper than what it is on here. Still works so that's why I'm giving it a 2/5.

I broke 3 of these cheap plastic knobs before ordering this one. This one didn't even fit so I could break it too. What I needed was a new cartridge. When I ordered that, it didn't fit either. Moen has changed this item just enough to make it now work. Our Moen faucets were installed by a previous owner. Something we never would have done. I don't recommend this plastic knob or anything else Moen.

This handle repeatedly breaks I have had to replace over & over.

This is the third one of these knobs I've had break. The second one was an aftermarket part so I can't blame it on Moen, but the original broke, and so did the latest official Moen part I put on a couple years ago. Poor design, the acrylic plastic sleeve that fits over the brass part on the faucet is clearly not up to the torque required to turn it, over the long run. I guess I'll buy 2 this time, so I have a spare on hand the next time it breaks. I always enjoy having to disassemble my shower faucet and rig up a temporary repair with vice-grips before I can have a shower in the morning.
