Straight out of the shower, my curls felt soft and were pretty easy to detangle. The conditioner has a creamy texture, and it left my hair feeling really nourished, not that fake “coated” feeling some products give. I used it mainly on my mid-lengths to ends, and it gave me nice definition without weighing anything down. The scent is kind of coconutty and clean. I personally liked it, but I can imagine it won't be everyone's thing. I did start to notice a bit of build-up by week three, especially near the roots (even though I don't apply conditioner high up). A quick clarifying shampoo sorted that out, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. I'd say this conditioner works best when you rotate in a clarifier or use it a couple of times a week instead of daily. If your curls are on the drier side and need hydration and frizz control, and you don't have access to curly hair specific products this is a solid pick, especially for the price. Just go light with application and keep a balance in your routine.
