Monopoly Travel World Tour Board Game for Kids and Family Ages 8 and Up, 2-4 Players

My wife and I like trying out all the various versions of Monopoly, the ones that have new mechanics and rules. This one plays much like regular Monopoly, with the added goal of completing travel sets. It would be too much to explain, but it's a nice change from regular Monopoly. The playing pieces are ink stamps, and you are meant to stamp the board like a passport (it's dry erase, so it wipes off). A fun addition are chance cards that you also stamp, but after 3 players stamp the card, it's permanent. Again, hard to explain in a review. Quality is on par with with other Monopoly sets produced, as expected. Honestly, Monopoly game variations are a better value than themed Monopoly sets (a couple of which we own). Themed sets are expensive and just the same game again, variants are usually cheaper and provide a fun change of pace. If you enjoy regular Monopoly, it's easy to get into travel monopoly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are definitely a Monopoly game family, and we had so much fun using this one as we have not had a chance to use this type yet. We have three other different sense of Monopoly games and we love this one just as much as the other three. Was a little unsure at first because we have not had this highlighter style yet but we all had a blast with it and will continue to use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monopoly travel world tour edition is very different from the original monopoly. I love to travel so I thought this game would be cool. I have to say I personally found it to be a bit confusing, old brain and all I guess, my niece helped me to sort it all out. It's easy to understand once you place a few games and it's fun. In this game, the rules and features are different, the properties are destinations. The Destination cards have goals to complete, they read like riddles. The game pieces are stamps, you stamp the destinations you land on and you stamp the cards too. Like I said a bit confusing at first. Oh yeah the monies are super supper tiny. Maybe they game maker was trying to be sustainable or keeping it different from the original. Everything is different from the original. It's fun once you get the hand of it.

Over all its a great game just like the regulat one. But i do wish that the money was made like the regular one and cards. They are super small. That is why I am giving it four stars

I absolutely love this game!!! I bought a second one because I was missing a few cards from the first one and this one from Walmart advertised I would be getting a bonus penguin piece that I was excited for. However, when I recorded my package it did not have the bonus playing price and my family and I was disappointed.

The new Monopoly is somewhat different than the one I grew up with. No houses or hotels and the way to win is considerably different. It took us some trial and error to understand the differences but by the end of the game we were ready to do it right next time.
