Monster Smart App Wi-Fi 6.5ft Multi-Color Color Flow LED Light Strip, Multiple Colors at Once 6.5 FT/2M

I love this smart LED light strip. It's cheap and integrates with Alexa. I had 100% success with integrating into Alexa routines. The instructions in the box aren't great, but it's super simple. Just first download the Monster Smart app, get things synched there, enable the Monster Smart skill in your Alexa app, and then you'll be able to build out your routines. They're so good, I purchased 5 and am looking for more places in my home to purchase them! Also, be aware the 3M tape on the back isn't perfect and needs some support - but the type of support depends on where you are mounting the lights.

Absolutely love these! Used them around the back of a huge picture I hung and behind my tv! Love the app! Ive used monster lights in the past, good quality and reliable and dont get hot

My 11 y/o daughter LOVES her lights! They make her room look even more awesome. The choices are so cool, and since we've been spending a lot of time at home. it's nice to be able to switch up the vibe and create whatever ambiance she chooses. I may get some for other rooms in my home. Very satisfied!!

I have bought Monster Brand LED Light Strips under the Illuminessence style, and in comparison, it doesn't fall short of the great quality I've come to enjoy. The app is simple to setup, as well as the Google Assistant controls are pretty easy/basic. I would like more Assist Features, like the Themes, or strobing, but that is Google.

I purchased these for my son for Christmas. I ended up returning them because they have to run on WiFi. I missed that on the ad when I bought them the first time so I just wanted to give a heads up. They are nice bright lights with a lot of features if you are looking for WiFi lights.

These lights don’t really work as advertised. Pros - Price Cons - Like everyone else said, they don’t stick. It won’t stay and you will have to end up securing them with someone else, like duct tape, or screws. You can’t connect them. You get 6.5 ft and it needs to be a straight line. They can’t turn at a right angle. It won’t bend and I actually broke one trying make a turn under the cabinets. The app doesn’t work correctly. I connected them to my google home and grouped them together. When I tell google to change them a certain color, the colors don’t match. Like one strip will be blue and one will be purple if I tell it make them purple. It doesn’t come with a power supply. You need a basic 5V power supply. I used one generic one I had in a drawer and it wouldn’t work. Tried an Apple one and it worked. They should have just added a cheap Chinese power supply and charges $1 more.

Why on Earth would Monster put their name on this?! I struggled for 30 mins to get anything done in the app. The lights are okay but wish they were brighter. The effects are very limited as well. I have other smart lights that do far more things for around the same price point. I used these to add lighting to my 3D printer and it leaves a lot to be desired. I would have purchased the Merkury brand but they were locked away and the line was huge with 1 associate taking care of everything.

Doesn’t work at all. If you don’t have fancy WiFi at home like the kind that shows up as two different WiFi’s in your phone DONT BUY this it only wants the fancy WiFi. Doesn’t work whatsoever very disappointed not worth the money, also the app asks to track your location and have your camera turned on. Very sketchy.

Fair warning to anyone that buys these, if you plan on disconnecting and reconnecting the LEDs by cutting them you can't because they put some clear resin on top of the LED strips, and you cannot use them portably due to the strict power requirements, they won't even turn on if plugged into a battery pack. Definitely returning these. Also does not come with a remote so unless you have the right wifi to use these you're also screwed. Not recommended at all for DIY projects

Overall I hate these. Of youre looking for under cabinet lighting, get the Walmart Mercury version ones. They are way brighter, at least 2x as bright. This model is very very dim and only has one "white" that's not even really white at all. Would not suggest these. First monster product that has let me down.
