Philips Smart LED 60-Watt A19 General Purpose Light Bulb, Frosted Color & Tunable White, Dimmable, E26 Medium Base (1-Pack)

it works but I do not recommend using the wiz app, it constantly glitches and it has terrible customer service, the agents take over 3 minutes to respond, and they end up ignoring any questions you have, just scan the qr code and add it through apple or google and it works instantly, save yourself the headache

As advertised. I have a few of this brand and like the app. Have had several over a year and no problems. App features allow complete. control of color and brightness including setting multiple "scenes" for each bulb in the house. As an example I have a full brightness 5000K white light, less bright 3000k, and red night light mode for the same lamp.

These bulbs do not require the expensive Philips integrated system, while still operating the on-off, dimmer, timer, and color settings through a smart phone. Once set up, your timer settings run through the internet via servers that are who knows where, which I do not prefer. But in an old house with few light switches, they are better than the alternatives with separate remotes that control a switch at the electrical outlet and cannot dim or run timers, or change the warmth and hue of the bulbs.

I really wanted to like these. They are full-spectrum, which is the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars, otherwise I'd only give it 1. I bought 4 total but they constantly become unresponsive from Alexa and the app almost on a daily basis. Sometimes multiple times per day. I have even improved my internet and yet it seems to be getting worse and requires me turn on/off the fan and lamp multiple times before it will work right. Simply put, I hate these lights, the app, and how I wasted my money on them. I'm constantly frustrated with them. At one point, they were losing connectivity and turned on at 100% brightness in the middle of the night when it was restored, multiple nights in a row. Or something was causing them to come on at 3, 4, 5 in the morning >( I really dispise that kind of malfunction. I hate that I have to search again for smart lights that will actually work and spend more money on this stuff. Not sure why these work so well for so many and yet there are a few who have the same issue as I do. See pic to see what I mean, I tried turning off my lights at night but no, one light isn't responding to Alexa commands or the app now. And this is after I had all of them stop working earlier and had to turn the fan and lamp off and on multiple times. Now I have to get out of bed again just to get this thing to work. Totally defeats the purpose I got them for, to be lazy and easily turn my lights on and off at bed time. This sucks :(

I had never owned a controllable lightbulb before—let alone one that changes colors and can be remotely controlled for color selection and on/off scheduling. These bulbs are incredibly easy to use and surprisingly fun. A funny moment really sold me on them. Last Christmas, my sister visited with my nephew, and we hadn’t told her we had replaced our lightbulbs. While she was sitting in the living room talking with my wife, I quietly started changing the lamp’s color from white to red, then to blue. Suddenly, she slid away from the lamp on the couch, glanced at me, and asked if I had just seen what happened—right as I switched the light back to its normal white glow. The look on her face was priceless. I was laughing too hard to explain, so my wife finally told her the lamp had a controllable bulb. She was genuinely impressed—and so am I. These bulbs are both practical and a lot of fun. Note: The attached images have not been modified and were just taken by my iPhone.

Great bulb! Good alternative to the higher priced Hue line of bulbs. The WiZ app connects quickly after the initial setup has been completed. App is intuitive, easy to use, and not overly complex.

love the bulbs but I have to keep unlinking from Google home app and relinking. The WIZ app for the bulbs links just fine but it's the google syncing that causes issues. I thiught I was buying the Philips HUE bulbs but didn't read the description well enough.

my light was defective, could not start

These are the first smart bulbs I bought I bought 4 so can’t compare with others but I do like them love all the colors and can schedule them to turn on and off, I have it come on in morning to wake me with choice of colors and has fun options like ocean which is a blue fading to green and flickering flame and some other assortments even seasonal themes on the app, works with Google home with voice command so I can turn it on when I enter a room and turn it off when I leave with voice command, it’s good when I am in a hurry and my hands are full and I think you can command while your away I have not tried that yet, have not played around with all you can do with them but I like them, I got them to make my life easier and they do

These bulbs could be nice however they rarely work with either Google or Alexa. The Wiz app works most of the time but you purchase smart lightbulbs to use voice commands. I have 4 different bulbs and have the same problem with all 4. Would not recommend.
