Philips Lighting Hue Bridge Wireless Lighting System Central Control Unit

I have no regrets buying this product it was super easy and fast to setup, I added the light bulbs all over the house and they connected right away I was worried that the bulbs upstairs weren't going to connect well but I was wrong they connected right away and they work great. And also works amazingly with Apple homekit I can control all the light bulbs from all my Apple devices and Apple TV which is super awesome. I just love that I could be watching tv on my Apple TV and my phone is somewhere else charging so I get my my Apple remote I press and hold the microphone and command Siri to turn off all the lights or the specific light or lights that are on at the time it's great I'm so amazed with hue products I love it! And I recommend this product you'll definitely love and enjoy it as well.

I liked the philips light automation .Its one for the best wireless product and also it works with Siri and Alexa.

This item is exactly what I needed. It worked well. It did what it was supposed to and it was on sale so that was a plus.

easy to setup

Old hub stopped working, Phillips support not helpful. Early adopter of Phillips Hue, 9 bulbs in use for many years. Old App stopped working the Hub stopped working. New app was unable to connect to old Hub. Phillips support was not much help, either online or by phone. Best they could offer was a 20% discount towards a new Hub. Able to get new app and Hub up and running but would not recognize or “find” the bulbs. Had to take down and unscrew each bulb and manually enter serial number into the app. Even then Hub was not able to recognize all bulbs right away, took multiple attempts.

I'm not a huge fan of smart home products that require a standalone hub, but Philips is a good brand so I made an exception. I came away with very mixed feelings. On one hand, the products were very high quality, well manufactured, etc. However, beyond the cost and inconvenience of requiring a hub, the Hue Bridge is itself rather dated. It requires a hardwire connection tp a router, which limits placement options. I have a large house with a mesh network, and only the main node had a ethernet port available. This forced me to place the hub in an inconvenient and somewhat difficult to access location. Basically, for the cost I would have expected a hub that could connect to my network wirelessly.

This stopped Working all of A sudden and won't sync or acknowledge connection. Reset modem and all open port everything it is not blocked… Will not purchase hue again.

It very often does not work and needs to be rebooted or have the button pushed. After about a year it just stopped responding and showing offline. Absolute Trash.

The Sync Box is one of the coolest things I have ever bought.... when it works. It is always "trying to connect" to the sync box. The LED strip behind my TV works always, and connects, I can make it whatever color I want at any time. When I try to connect to the "sync" so that it syncs the lights up with whatever I am playing through my firestick, its hit or miss whether it is going to connect or not. Really frustrating when I spent a good $600-$700 just for a chance for it to work each night

It worked great for a week, then it wouldn't connect to the app. No matter what i tried, it just would not connect.
