Philips Hue Dimmer Switch

Philips Hue Dimmer Switch has been such a game changer for my home lighting! It makes controlling the lights so effortless no more getting up and turning the lights on/off or reaching for apps or dealing with multiple switches. The setup was quick, and it works seamlessly with my Hue lights

Perfect accessory for Hue lighting. Easy to setup and just needs a battery every 2-3 years to operate my 10 lights. I prefer the tactile touch for turning on my lights over using the app on my iPhone.

Love the dimmer switch. I'd normally use the app but this product is so useful when you need light quick instead of waiting for the app to launch while yours standing in a dark room. Plus the remodel of the buttons, perfect!i could cycle between light settings within seconds

The hue switches work great and they are easy to sync with your hue system. They are very fast and I like the fact that the light dims down very low with the dimmer button. My only complaint is the switch does not fit in a regular wall plate. if you have multiple switches side-by-side, the hue switch won't fit unless you buy a custom wallplate which will cost you about $40 for the plate. Hue Needs to fix this with the next generation release.

I bought two Philips Hue Dimmer Switches. One of them worked perfectly, but the second one didn't work at all (tried resetting it, etc.). I had to return the defective one. The one that works is great! Controls my lights without a hub, easy installation, nice design. 5/5. Might buy another one in the future to replace the defective one.

I really like the new physical design. Rounded edges, softer feeling buttons, it just seems more sleek. I would like to see a feature added where you can program the power button and Hue button to do nothing rather than require it to set a scene, but continue to allow the dimmer buttons to control a room/light.

I have 4 of these in my house. Two are older model and I would say are for only one reason better. Casing was magnetic on the older model vs non-magnetic on the new model. I use them in Hubitat environment and it is just amazing what you can do with only 4 buttons. Design is not changed a lot, off button is replaced with Hue button. Nifty little thing. If you are doing zigbee automation, this is the must.

Some quality improvements over the prior model dimmer swich. Actual switch now has magnets (prior model only had magnets in the wall mount). Like the addition of the Hue button which will turn on light scenes based on the time of day. Do wish the power button could be used to toggle between 5 preset scenes and turn off selected lights when long pressed. Currently the only long press option is to turn off ALL lights in your home & you have to choose either scene cycle or time based scenes for the Hue button. Would love to see these features be added through a future software update.

It's handy, and I like it, but it has some problems in the app. The scene icons don't match the actual colors, and it limits scene cycling to 5 instead of the higher limit which the tap switch has, seemingly for no reason. And have fun replacing the battery when it dies.

Great switch but I need it to fit in a standard switch plate cover or have an adapter. The single switch plate that it comes with is nice but there's plenty of times where there's other switches that are not smart and the smart switch needed to fit in next to them.
