Great enhancement for our entryway ceiling fixutre
I wanted to include our entryway ceiling light in our Hue scenes, but I also wanted the light to function for standard lighting that one would use when greeting guests or answering the door. With the help of a Hue-friendly light switch we accomplished both. The bright and vibrant colors these bulbs are capable of producing enhance our existing scenes and give us lots of ways to create moods and environments with our Hue setup. When we need to, we can illuminate our entryway with the simple flip of a switch.

Awesome lights in my ceiling fan
I've been using this in my ceiling fan to sync with online concerts and my other lights and they work amazingly well. Can be super bright but dimmer functionality helps a lot

Life Changing
I have always hated having lights on during the day, as they clashed so strongly with any natural light entering from outside. These bulbs completely fix that. I have setting for every sky condition, from summer sun to storms. Absolutely fantastic!

I love them.
I got 3 Philips Hue bulbs for the chandelier in my bedroom and I love them. They really change the way the room feels with their different lighting settings.

Does not support power on feature.
Does NOT support power ON feature. Unfortunately none of the hue documentation explicitly mentions this feature of any of its bulbs. So it is left to the consumer to discover this for any bulb type AFTER purchasing and installing. I have 3 hubs ( 1st and 2nd generations), 10 devices ( taps and dimmers ) and over 40 lights ( Multiple gen bulbs , light strips, go and play. I would expect the previous generations not to support this feature but not this relatively new comer.

dim light good for a night light
wanted lights for my ceiling fan. These are way too dim barely light up the room. I wish Philip would realize that we want brighter lights over 800 lumens. Seriously look up what most people in this world buy before LED.... 60 watt bulbs. Also the price is ridiculous.

Too tall for my light fixtures
These bulbs looked fine, but unfortunately I had to return them all, because they are too tall to fit inside my light fixtures. I hope Philips comes out with shorter versions, so that my home can be completely Hue!
