Monterey Once A Year Imidacloprid Insect Control Repellent, 32 oz

This product was used for crepe Myrtle's and performed well . The trees were covered in black powdery dust and white sticky stuff which was eliminated after using the insect control.

I tried this product for the first time. I have a green ash tree in Illinois and this is supposed to prevent the emerald ash borer from infecting it. I haven't had problems with the borer before and don't now. I can't say the product prevents the insect after one season of use. It's easy to mix and easy to use. You just mix it with water and pour it around the base of the tree once in spring I plan to use it again next year. I see that the active ingredient is listed as being effective by Michigan State University.

systemic, so roots absorb and bugs and beetles cease and desist damaging plants. Seems to me like this works better than any spray I have found. long lasting results as well.

It is for trees and large shrubs so reduce the amount of concentrate for smaller plants. I use it for Hibiscus and rose bushes for aphids and irises for white flies. One time application really does work all year. I have bought 2 bottles so I don't run out, works great!!

I must say that when first learned of Monterey it was from google looking to get rid of certain garden pest. And never once heard of it before. Even thought I read positive things about it, I was still a little skeptic. And really was surprised on how many different kind they had. I bought this one and a different one thinking if I can't get the pest under control this harvest season hopefully the once a year will help for the next. Long story short this has been hands down the Best pest control I have ever boughten. I tell all my gardening friends and family that it was money well spent. I don't see the need to look anywhere else, I'm sold!

Worked great

I bought this for newly planted trees, but missed the window of opportunity to use it, as I ordered too late. This is the product I've seen gardeners on YouTube use annually and it works for them atm. I'm sure some tree insects/diseases may become immune to any product, but I'll be applying this for future tree health.

This product arrived in good condition and appears to be working as expected so far. The packaging is sturdy and well made. My only complaint is that the instructions were not the easiest to navigate, especially for finding the mixing and application directions.
