I got this for my Nephew's recent first Birthday. It was immediately commandeered by his older Brother, who hasn't been introduced to sharing yet.
Smaller than expected I think it should've been at least an inch 2 inch wider and maybe even an inch to inch and a half longer but it looks sturdy and it's a gift for a two-year-old

My 2 year old can play with it for 30 minutes. It keeps her busy.

I bought this for my 18 month old, hoping it would give him something to help with fine motor skills. However, the shapes are fairly small, so perfect choking size. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for small kids. avoidable accidents, by not giving households with small children pieces perfect for getting lodged in their throats.
I had no idea it was so small!! i thought it was a lot bigger!! This is like a mini toy. Its cute and colorful, but way to tiny!
It was my mistake not to pay attention to the dimensions, but based on the age group range, I thought it would be bigger. I don't think a 1 yr old has the hand eye coordination to put pieces that are barely an inch and a half across on to the pegs. I didn't even take the plastic off, it went directly back to the store for a refund. Our Walmart has always been exceptionally cooperative with refunds, something that is much appreciated.
This item looks very cheap in person, looks like just some shady wood dowels and poorly made shapes. Definitely not good for 1-3yr old.. For $20 on sale for $10,definitely not what I expected, this looks more like a $3 toy.
