Always the best toy for cats. Young or old, one or many, always a hit. They can take the ball out but then that's more a game. They may tear up the middle cardboard but you can buy replacements.

I got this for my one yr old cat and he absolutely loves it! It's very sturdy and well made. I bought a roll of sticky back carpet that is supposed to be used on furniture where cats scratch to protect it awhile back for things just like this. I hate the mess those cardboard scratchers make and how they tear up so I covered it with that pet carpet and it's so much better.. It's my cat's favorite toy right now!

This is without a doubt, one of the BEST cat toys ever invented!!! I have 17 indoor rescued cats & kittens and most of them like to play with these. some of them LOVE to play with it A LOT! I l love hearing the whirr of the ball going round and round, because I know someone's having fun! And they like to pluck at the corrugated cardboard in the middle. You can buy replacement cardboard for middle, but it's so sturdy, we haven't needed to at all. It still looks good as new! Every cat house should have a few of these.

I bought this toy because it is well reviewed and inexpensive. My cat plays with it every single day. My 6 year old son was also fascinated with moving the ball around the track. This is like that as seen on tv toy cats meow except it requires no batteries and is 7 dollars cheaper lol! The cat uses it so much I have to flip it upside when I go to sleep so the plastic ball being batted around doesnt drive me crazy all night!

My cat loves this toy. I sprinkled a tiny bit of the catnip (included) on the track/circle to introduce Russell to the toy, and played with him the first time. Now he plays by himself, and I often hear him playing with it at night. He's an old cat and is usually unimpressed with the toys I buy, but so happy I bought this one. Recommend it highly!

I have 4 cats they all love it and my parents and in laws each have 4 cats they all love it. I've never seen another toy that is that universally used. Generally someone will have no interest. The center scratchy portion and the ball are replaceable. It comes with a little bag of catnip, although it was tested pre catnip application and was still a hit.

I have 2 cats, the psychotic one will on very rare occasions bat the ball around. However, everytime i enter the room she will use the scratching post part of it. If you have slightly more playful cats, maybe they will use the ball more? Was cheap enough to be "worth".

i had this type of toy be for many time i believe i got it at dollar general but they dont have them anymore. they were around $9.99 a bit smaller but were n heavier plastic so it didnt slude everywhere when tbe cat plsys with it . this one is big and lightweight flimsy pladtic. hardcto walk around and it slide everywhere when the cat plays with it.

I ordered this because it was relatively cheap and looked like something my cats might play around with. I have two female cats. One is 12 and one is 8 months. I would expect the older female not to play with this toy, HOWEVER, she loves scratching her claws on the center. But save your money and just buy them a cheap cardboard scratching post. My other cat, the kitten, I thought would play with it. I would play for awhile to get her interested and at first she was, but now a week later and it's been ignored the entire time aside from them scratching their claws on it. If I were to recommend another product - please consider buying Catit Design Speed Circuit!!!! I did buy this one and BOTH cats love it!! The ball moves easier on it's on and way better design in my opinion.

I am really upset with this purchase. I was waiting for this toy unfortunately it came without the ball. The worst is it's not the first time the toy is coming without the ball according to one star reviews unfortunately I didn't pay attention to these reviews.
