I was informed that this Aluminum polish works great for yellowed and fogged plastic headlight covers and decided to give it a try and what do you know, it did great with less work than kits and other methods I've seen used.. Just rub it in well as you would any compound or polish and continue until it dries and then wipe it down with a clean dry towel or rag, I didn't even use any power tools on them and they were bad to begin with, a 2008 car with that type of maintenance never done since I purchased the car new.
I bought this for one project but ended up using it on several. Very little polish needed to make a big difference. Easy to apply. Easy to wipe off. Worked better than i expected. Wouldn't buy any other product than mothers.
I saw a YouTube video about this stuff and figured I had nothing to lose. I have a ‘98 Corolla (original owner) and needed new headlights but used this instead. Speechless! When I showed my BF the before and after pictures, he thought I'd had the headlights replaced.
Yearly I polish decor around the house. This product has help me cut down so much time and effort. Apply it on and buff it out with a microfiber cloth and done. I buy this yearly.
I read where this polish was very good at removing scratches and machine marks from stainless pistols, and boy it sure is. I got the worst of the damage removed first with a 3M pad, then polished my Vaqueros to a high gloss using Mothers Mag. It's a very slow process, but that's a good thing, so you don't remove TOO much material too quickly. For the price and quantity of polish you get, you should try this too if you want your stainless pistols to look BETTER than they did when they were factory new !!! };>{>
So I decided to polish my stainless steel, quarter fenders, tanks, and wheels. Truck washes use an acid to help break up road grime, bugs and brake dust. I've always heard this is a good polish, have seen it demonstrated on already polished metal. I took a gamble and picked up the bigger can, and glad I did. The acid at the wash turns my aluminum white, I used a test patch on my tanks, the whitest of my aluminum, after 2-3 gentle applications my test portion was shiny again. There was no scrubbing, and yes a very little goes along way, the portion in my picture was just from barely scraping the top of the container. The other polish I tried took half a bottle to get my metal shining again.
Was looking for a product to polish items on a resto on my motorcycle. Searched for a product to use and came across Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish. First time using this product and was hoping it might work good. Wow! A little bit of work and the shine was impressive! New or old bolts, nuts and even crud encrusted oil lines! After polishing the oil lines, I passed on buying new ones.
I have used Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish for decades for restoring the finish on guitars and for polishing shellac finishes. I have also spent many many hours polishing aluminum on motorcycles and anything else with aluminum, copper or brass. I don't like to be without it.
I purchased this product to clean aluminum panels along the top of my cargo trailer and it really performed well. A little goes a long way. I didn't think one container would be enough but it was more than enough. The panels are about 14 feet on both sides and maybe 8 inches deep. I have plenty left to clean and shine the diamond guard across the front. If you use this product while on a ladder, and it falls off, expect the tub to break! Mine did and I had to move it to another container. It needs to be repackaged so that it will not break when it is dropped on cement. That was the only issue I had. I would recommend Mothers Mag and Aluminum cleaner for all your polishable metals that are listed on the label. Great product :)
Product came in a bag, completely trash, so I had to put the product left in a new container, the product was ok, but the bad packaging ending in a broken container really terrible experience, I will not be a surprise if Im not the only one who had this bad experience
