[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with the picture quality of this monitor. I can see my baby clearly and it has a wide angle so I can see almost his entire room at once. It also displays the room temperature which I find helpful! The set up was very easy and the instructions were easy to understand. one of the downsides to this monitor is the touchscreen feature. I personally do not like that it's touchscreen. It's a bit difficult to maneuver when moving the camera to face a different direction. Additionally, I sometimes carry the monitor in my hand with other things and since it's touchscreen, I accidentally move the camera while doing so. I would have preferred buttons. Lastly, this monitor has a feature to play music through the camera. I was disappointed that there was no shushing sound as that's the only sound that soothes my baby and it would be nice to have an all in one, instead of also needing a sound machine. Perhaps on the next rendition the shushing sound could be included. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality of picture and sound and would highly recommend this to any of my friends and family with young children!

What Whistles? - The VM36XL Touch Connect is WiFi enabled, super easy to set up, and comes with an app that'll allow you to check up on your little one from your phone or tablet - whenever, wherever. - The camera has remote pan, tilt & zoom that you operate with a 5 inch, high-def, multipoint touchscreen display. Not only was every inch of our nursery covered, it was covered clearly. I could see a booger if I really zoomed in. - The camera moves silently and is equipped with nightvision, for busting your little darling when they try to climb out of the crib at 2am. Freeze, sucka! - It has lullabies, nature sounds & other cool things to soothe baby when they give you that look. You know. The "oh no, not again!" look when you start singing completely out of tune. We can't all be rockstars, but we can be good parents! - This monitor includes 2-way talk! Not only will you freak out the babysitter, you'll hear their reaction! Priceless. But Seriously, Guys. Not even close. I charged it overnight like it said to, and the next day it took me MAYBE twenty minutes to get rolling. Wifi connected, app downloaded, everything. The touchscreen WORKS and it's huge. So much clearer and better quality than others we've had. I love that I can use the 2-way talk to help calm down my boys if someone else is there caring for them. I am also a fan of the battery. I didn't feel like I had to constantly charge this. I'd absolutely recommend the Motorola VM36XL Touch Connect to a fellow Mom or Dad friend.

The monitor is super great. It is able to be moved around so I can get the angle I want. The image quality on the monitors is great and I can adjust the sound how I ever loud I want. Plays lullabies and this allows me to talk to the baby thru the device while in another room. Also sometimes we use this to watch the kids while we are out in the garage or over at the neighbors. Working from home feels great knows I could see my baby from another room and will be notified right away of any movement and sound. Set up was very easy and quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this new Motorola baby monitor for a few weeks and in love with it. The baby monitor system is easy to set up and very easy to use. I like the big clear touchscreen and the way you can talk to your baby from the monitor. I'm also impressed with the picture quality of this monitor, even during night time I can see my baby clearly. The sound quality is great as I can hear my baby with no issues. The app is a bit delayed. Overall it's a great product and I'd recommend it to my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Motorola's baby monitors are seldom found atop the lists of "Best Baby Monitors", but they're often found on those lists and user reviews are usually fairly favorable. I don't know if Motorola makes these or just brands them, but Motorola baby monitors been around for some time now, garnering the normal assortment of cranky reviews along with positive assessments. I can't speak to long term use of this monitor. So I'm reviewing initial impressions. If I find things to be different over time, I'll come back and update. Motorola makes two basic forms of video monitors. One type connects solely to a handheld unit via 2.4Ghz radio. It's not wifi enabled. It's a basic unit with fairly long range usable only when both you and your baby are at home. The other type connects both to a handheld screen AND, via wifi to your phone. This type can monitor your baby both when you're at home and, via the app and internet, when you're away from home. This is Motorola's most expensive wifi model. It connects both to a handheld receiver screen and to your phone via the internet. Wirecutter, the review site, said it disliked Motorola's wifi baby monitor the least of all the wifi+handheld LCD monitor units it tested, but it didn't give any wifi unit a glowing review. However, when Wirecutter reviewed baby monitors Motorola was still using its Hubble app for phone connectivity--an app I've not used--and reviewers say that the new app used by this system is far superior to the old Hubble app. OK, a few noteworthy features with differentiation between this and less expensive models in parentheses: 1) Zoom is digital, up to 2X (other models range up to 4X digital zoom, a negligible difference, honestly). 2) Pan and tilt are motorized (vs digital pan and tilt and manual pan and tilt on other models). 3) 1080 resolution (vs 720p resolution on other Motorola systems). 4) 5-inch lcd screen in monitor is clear with good color and visibility (vs. 4.3-inch and non-touch screen in other Motor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is very simple to set up for use as a normal baby monitor. The range is great and we live in a shipping container (metal) home. The picture and sound quality is clear. I love that there is a 2 way communication feature with this camera. I'm able to talk to the kids over the hand held screen and they can talk back with me. What I did not like about it was how difficult it was to use with the app you can download on your phone and use a wifi connection with. I tried several times to connect it following the steps that the app walks you through but never was able to get that feature to work. I am unsure how that feature is but I do like everything else about this camera and monitor.

unfortunately I spent wayyy to much money on this product! the brand name is what sold me because its a well known name...it worked well for about 3 weeks and now the picture does not even show clearly. ive done everything i can think of to get the picture more clear and nothing works. i would advise anyone else to spend their money elsewhere!
