Moulin Rouge! [Blu-ray]

I don't often love romantic films, musicals, or popular music. But this film has it all and somehow casts a spell on me. So glad to have it on Blu-ray!

The picture quailty of this BluRay is great. Volume n the movie is loud n some parts as predictable though. This movie is what, I call a musical and a romanic movie. The story line is great and a little unpreditable some what but always a great movie if u like musicals and a romanic type of movie. I also own the movie on DVD with the THX sound which isn't on the BluRay but the volume is pretty good overall. This movie is a great movie for couples and pretty much anyone who is a movie person. The first time, I bought this movie on DVD... I had no ideal that the movie was going to be this good and surpirsed me. I instantly like the movie after watching the whole thing but that is my opinon. If u buy this movie give it a chance and u might be surpirsed how good this movie is.

Love this movie and seeing on BluRay was really nice. It's big, bold, and beautiful. The audio was amazing too.

Music is fun & original. Dance numbers are great!

Moulin Rouge is a stylish musical with great performances and I am happy to own the blu ray.

This movie is sure to be a musical classic !!

This is a rather strange production. Set at the end of the 19th century it uses songs from the mid and late 20th century. Satine sings "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" and "Like a Virgin." The story is almost identical to Dumas Fils' "Dame aux Camilias" or Verdi's "La Traviata." It is brilliant, stunning, a visual treat, a mind-bending experience and totally derivative. The Blu-Ray version accentuates its qualities.
