Mountain House Gluten-Free Freeze Dried Scrambled Eggs with Uncured Bacon, 20 Oz

My family and I tried House meat as a test to see if it was worth buying more to store in our emergency pantry. We've tried a few that we quickly realized we would rather hunt squirrels and frogs for emergency protein, so we were a bit wary. However, we were pleasantly surprised that this worked well in chili and soups, without the aftertaste others have reported. Definitely worth a purchase.

This is my daughters favorite. Wether camping or just a delicious quick meal at home. Once the can is open I seal single portions in mason jars and put on the shelf for easy grab and add hot water and eat.

Easy to reheat. We repackage it for backpacking. The noodles don't always reheat properly. Sometimes they're crunchy, others are mush. But it's always a nice treat at the end of a long hike.

Delicious!, and Mountain House has been consistent in preparing great food for the those that hike, camp, and now with possible food shortages coming. They care about us and I have to tell you, the people in shipping ARE THE BEST! They care that what is delivered to you is just perfect. Thank you Mountain House!!!

I have tried several different meals from Mountain House which include their beef. They are always very good. This is the only brand I buy for entrees because I trust the quality for my family. I gave it four stars for value because it is getting very expensive.

This mountain horse gluten-free freeze dried, scrambled eggs with uncured bacon tastes fresh. The flavors are clear the blending of the complex of egg and bacon is more than acceptable. I would highly recommend it.
