Mountain Ridge Raw Honey 22 oz

Best Local Honey there is . Between the quality and the price not to mention supporting local businesses instead of huge chains that have none of those traits, well it's a no brainer for my family.

This honey is so smooth and pure tasting! And I like that its in a jar b/c raw honey eventually crystalizes, gets harder, and when it does you can just scoop it out with a spoon. That usually takes a few months though, so if you use it before then it will be liquid form. This is the first time buying this brand, but several other brands that I bought that were raw honey crystalized in a few months.

Great deep taste and color. The way honey is suppose to be.

It's deceiving when it says it comes in a “mason jar” and says “mason” on the packaging. I did grocery delivery so I buy all my groceries online and specifically picked this one out thinking it's in a glass jar when it's in a plastic. Trying to cut back on plastic everything since it's poisoning us. I think the honey will be good since it's made in the USA versus Brazil like all the other ones they sell at Walmart

I gave it three stars even though it is really good and sweet. It takes two teaspoons to sweeten my tea whereas Nate's Organic I have to use four to get the same effect. If it doesn't matter to you if it is not raw and unfiltered, then this is the product to buy. My only complaint is that is is said to be Raw and Unfiltered on the website, but nowhere on the label does it state either raw or unfiltered, just Organic. Either the information is wrong on Walmart page when it states raw and unfiltered, or the label is wrong and should state raw and unfiltered.

. . . it's the PLASTIC 'jar' that is the issue. It looked like glass in the picture otherwise I would not have purchased it. Next time I will look elsewhere for GLASS.

HIGHLY DECEPTIVE. People do not have time to research products every detail, this looks like a glass jar and even says Mason, do they know they make plastic canine jars now, or maybe they should be notified as well. Honey needs proper storage and it will not get yeast, etc that compromises taste, quality, and. safety. %26 why theirs has a best by date, honey will last forever properly stored. Organic means it comes naturally not from bees that are GMO to begin with as I suspect from Brazil. This is my deduction.

I specifically paid extra for an organic raw honey that comes in glass jars. It comes in not only plastic instead of the glass that's advertised, but it's also a crappy cheap plastic that's not free from any of the chemicals. It's not bpa free. They are falsely advertising and charging a higher price based on the false information.

before I removed the plaatic seal around the lid, ants were already in the honey, actually in the honey, and in between the jar and lid. I wasn't able to taste it.
