What a great product! It does not scratch. It cleans very well. Yes, it somewhat dissolves, but that is because if it was made stronger, it would scratch the surface you're trying to clean. Think of it as a great soap scum eraser. All good erasers become smaller when used.

I love Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and now they are Extra Durable. I use these everywhere. From the kitchen to the bathroom and everything in between. I just wet, squeeze, and clean. Simple as that. They used to crumble apart when I was using them on bigger, dirtier jobs like in the bathroom and tub where there was a lot of buildup from soap scum but these extra durable ones really hold up without tearing. They are my favorite for walls and doors too. Once I get started, I can't stop. I will literally be walking through the house to find something else to clean. The kids like them too. They find it fun and believe me, anytime I can get the kids helping, it's a big win!!

If I had to narrow it down to my all time favorite cleaning product- Mr. Clean magic eraser would definitely be my top pick! They ALWAYS work. I can use them on just about anything and can always count on them to get the job done! They're super strong and durable!

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser has been my tried-and-true cleaning product for over 15 years. I've tried plenty of new sponges and cleaners that promise amazing results but never live up to the hype. Every time, I grab a Magic Eraser and immediately notice the difference it just works. It's incredibly easy to use with just water and quickly removes scuffs and marks that regular cleaners don't. My only gripe is that they do wear down and fall apart quicker than I would like but I assume that's part of the material that makes them work so well. Either way, it doesn't stop me from using this as my #1 go-to for tough messes.

Compared to the standard product, this extra durable type tends to hold up longer, as well as thicker and tougher. It's a lightweight, rectangular foam block with slightly wavy edges. The best part about it, all you need is water!

Best cleaning tool for kids. Removes marker and crayons on any surface. Great for cleaning mildew off tub and shower. Strong enough to use on outdoor furniture and toys. The product hold up great and can be use over and over again. I specifically like using it on my glass shower door, it removes all the water spots.

I found Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to be very effective on stains on the walls. The unique sponge took care of the grime from my dog and children's mess! Would highly recommend for spring cleaning projects. It can be pretty abrasive, use as directed.

Extra durable? Not. It appears that the “magic” in a Magic Eraser is its ability to disappear and be useless rather quickly. Even after listening to some of the responses from the company, doing what they suggest does nothing to the amazing ability of this product to fall apart, crumble, and disappear from being useful. I think it’s best used on smooth surfaces, like glass or countertops, but even then any amount of pressure will cause it to crumble.

Terrible product! I completely agree with DK25 review. Magic Eraser Extra Durable is misnamed; neither magical nor durable It just crumbled, broke into piece and then quickly disintegrated and was useless. I used it or at least tried to clean the grease around a gas element. Extremely disappointed and frustrated, I was better off using a rag and elbow grease. Would not recommend.
