Mr Heater 25000 Btu Convection Propane Portable Heater

Electric ignition, no matches required. 9 ft hose for propane tank to heater. This is the smallest one but for our oversized two car garage with a work room partially walled off in the back this little heater works great. Living on the Oregon coast it rarely gets below 38 ever, normally around 45 to 48 in the winter. So taking the chill off in the work room was the goal. Key thing is fire burns oxygen, so always have a vent, window, door cracked, etc. because in a closed area it will consume all of the oxygen. No brainer about flammables to close. He's very happy with his heater. I did take the insurance because Allstate insurance I've only had to use once, but it worked quickly and replaced the item insured.

I brought a unit about a month ago to heat my three car garage to smoke my cigars and watch sports in peace. When I received it I thought it was too small for the space. I hooked it up anyway to try it out and so far so good. It makes the more than comfortable.

doesn't put off the amount of heat I thought it would, but it does work great just smaller than I expected so less heat than I was expecting

Got this for a Boy Scout Tree Lot to keep sales tent warm. Did it ever even on the coldest nights. Small size helped in tent without sacrificing ability to heat the space.

Works really well, especially in areas that are protected from wind, but not fully enclosed. Can feel even heat a full 360* and about 5-10' range. Fully enclosed room - like a two car garage - will heat up in about 20 min (approx 45* start temp). Ran for close to 3 hours on "High" and 20 lb cylinder New years eve. Only draw back is when igniting the unit, you have to hold it down until the element heats up and will stay lit. Can get hot quickly and edges are sharp. I installed an eyebolt in the top that I hold when lighting that keeps the unit from sliding when lighting.

I read the reviews that said it was a little nosie but it is a lot quiter than the bullet heater I also have that is fan driven. It is truley omni-directional. You can't consentrate any heat to the area you are working. Good to heat up a whole room but you must wait for it to get up to heat as with some of the other heaters you can start working in an area as the room heats up. Overall this heater does what it says however I prefer the heaters that have heat where I can direct.

For a propane heater...this puts out high fumes even for a large barn area.
