Heats up fast and warms a big area fast and maintains the heat. We bought the little heat fans for them and that definitely improves it! We have several different sizes of these and love all!

Overall great unit, and the reason I purchased this was for the flex heater attachment, so we could cook too. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star and not a 5 is because the control for the heater/cooker is on the back of the unit…not the front or side where it should be . If you're ice fishing , the back of the heater is usually pushed to the outer wall or corner of your tent , so making heat adjustments is a little bit annoying, because you have to reach over the heater. Love the bi directional heat though, as it keeps both people warm in the tent if placed right, and lighting it was a dream with the ignition button. Truly wish that Mr Buddy would make them with fans too. That would be super helpful moving the heated air around the tent.

Got it when promised

it was advertised as indoor outdoor. It is for outdoor use only according to the users manual. I nought for use in my trailer, so it is cleary not good for me.
