The fuel keg is a great new tool. Much safer than using a bigger tank. easy to use. Cost effective compared to 5.00 or more for lb of propane.

These tanks are perfect! They work perfectly and easily with the refill system, they fill up quickly and without fuss.... no more fiddling with an adapter that only half way works. They have a pressure release valve and you get a perfectly filled tank every time. I purchased one, loved it so much that I then purchased two more! Highly recommend for anyone who uses the little green coleman tanks, save yourself a ton and refill these guys instead!!

after stacking about 30 disposable propane tanks I decided to give this a try and it is great. my advice is to follow instructions to the letter. it IS possible to over fill these. I am a bit of a tinker and after several refills I thought I knew better and ignored the over fill. it's cold outside and I side the gas expands in the warmth and I could hear it release through the overflow valve. follow instructions and I highly recommend.

Love the bleed valve, recently been using the flame king tanks, but its a pain to use the allen key and opening and closing the bleed valve. Easy twist open and close. Quick filling and appear well made, and the Walmart price was the best available will be ordering more and selling my flame king setup.

filling these are a bit harder then instructions say. it helps if u put keg into freezer and keep 20lb tank at room temp. make sure open the tank valve slowly and turn the vent ¼turn on keg quit filling when gas comes out of keg vent then close vent. saves lots of money

Price little high but in the range with others. Did not know it was just the tank until this review. Reduced rating due to lack of detail prior to purchase.

It seems finding a place to refill the propane is difficult, and there's an attachment that is required that does NOT come with the item and has to be purchased separately. So, while the idea and concept are GREAT, the reality is complicated. Hopefully, it will improve, and I'll purchase one in the future. For now, I returned this item

We have had trouble filling them empty weight is 1.13 lb full should be 2.13 lb we have only been able to get them to 2.4 lb definitely not full

The product is very good, the delivery was AWFUL from the vendor. I could have bought it through Tractor Supply and it would have been easier and faster !

I bought 4 of these Fuel Kegs along with the Fuel Keg refill kit. I like the idea, BUT there is a very small teflon (or nylon) seal down in the filler neck on the Keg that either immediately fell out OR was NEVER THERE in the first place and the cylinder WILL NOT SEAL to the Mr Heater, which is sort of a requirement I'd think. You don't want to be hosing propane fuel all over a hot heater! The 2 that work, work great. But the other 2 have the exact same problem - NO GAS SEAL! I don't suppose FedEx is going to let me return leaking partially filled propane cylinders, so I guess I'm out the $40 bucks or so, not to mention going into January with only 2 one pound backup heat cylinders. It's hard to see (you have to look very close), but it's a very small washer down in that tiny hole. One is a shot of the good cylinder with the seal, and the 2nd shot has no seal, making it not only useless but extremely dangerous! I guess I should have bought the Flame King.
