Measure twice, order once.
Arrived timely and well packaged. This is a high quality kitchen aid. However I need to return it because it is bigger than what I can use. Was searching for one the same size as I inherited from my dear mom-in-love. : to be able to make TWO of the same size items. I should have double checked the measurements. This one does not work for frozen pie crusts available for purchase in the stores, which is what I use in baking quiche/pecan pies. Too big and does not cover the crust of the rim of what is available in the frozen section of the store(s).

Does not work on store bought frozen pie crusts. Store bought frozen crusts measure 9 inches, and this pie crust shield covers only 1/4 inch of the crust, if that much.

Baker's joy
I love these. They keep the pie crust from burning before the pie is done cooking. Easy to use and easy to clean.

It is a nice pie shield but it too big. It doesn't rest one the crust it overlaps. 9 or 10” pie plate, just way too big.
