this pie shield is the best ever.. I have purchased 3 of these and will keep purchasing them if the need arises (gifts, ect). they work great for small or large pies and they wash very easy. much better than using those silicone ones in my opinion.

Yes, I would recommend it. I really liked it a lot. It keeps it from burning, which was the main purpose why I got it.

My mom used these on her pies and they were perfect! I was like mom how did you not burn the crest or over bake crust and she showed me these! I have not used them yet but will be making the pies for Christmas!

The size of the pie shield is good, it fit an odd sized pie pan. I have an older version of the Mrs. Anderson's metal pie crust shield and it had held up through many years of pies. This on the other hand would not. It is such poor quality I returned the product, it was no thicker aluminum than a pop can. I would not recommend this product.
