Mrs. Renfro's Blackberry Serrano Salsa, 16 oz

Unique taste, but really good. Really smoky and fruity, almost reminiscent of a barbecue sauce, with a good kick to it. Bet it would work great as a marinade.

First off- I can appreciate the non-gmo ingredients used. The salsa is not too sweet and has a slight hint of smokiness which I like. I will be buying again and exploring the other flavors.

This salsa has all the flavor you will ever need. It jumps at you and is delicious. I really hope this will be available for pickup. It is that good!

Like all Ms. Renfro's, it's got great flavor, but lacks chunkiness. The blackberry goes very well in a salsa, but it's too sweet for me. I added diced tomato, onion and peppers. Then, for this one, a bit of cumin mellows the sweetness and fruitiness and makes the whole thing more balanced.

This salsa isn't quite as good as their mango habanero salsa but still one of my favorite fruits salsas. It kinda tastes like chili and you can actually taste the blackberries making for a very unique flavor!
