Tough case, easy to open and close.
This is exactly what I was looking for! It's waterproof, blaze orange for viz, hard sided, tough case, I intend for first aid supplies while canoe tripping. I own the small for my GPS, Spot and cell phone and the large is perfect for first aid!

OK but smaller than expected
Smaller than expected. Listed dimensions 10x7x5 are outermost dim's. to end of clasps Useable, inside dim's are more like 8x5x5

Small
This box is well made. That being said it was much smaller than expected. Based on the picture I assumed this product was about the size of a small tackle box and would be able to hold all of out emergency supplies. However, when it arrived it was the size of a pencil box. There were no dementions listed at the time of purchase. The photo is misleading. I'm sure this would be great for smaller items, just not what we had intended it for.

description not accurate
this box is much smaller than specified. specs state 10x5x8 so I thought it would make a good emergency box. these are the dimensions with the lid open. the actual size is 5x5x8. the compass is glued in crooked so it doesn't work and the signal mirror is just a sticker on the bottom of the box. for this price I should have gone with the Plano deep dry box. the seal does seem adequate so I will use the box to store my cell phone and wallet but have to find something bigger for flares and first aid.
