Mucinex Children's Mighty Chews Cold and Flu Medicine Medicated Chewable Tablets, Mixed Berry Flavor, 16 Count

My 4 and almost 6 year old both got sick at the same exact time shortly after school started. My 4 yr old is non verbal autistic and refuses to take any kind of medication ( ex. liquid - he will immediately spit it out) but my children love fruit snacks so I thought why not give these a shot? My son could still tell they werent his "regular fruit snacks" so he still ultimately refused. But my daughter ate them with 0 issues and I could tell by the end of the first day they were already starting to work, especially with her congestion, runny nose, and less coughing. I would definitely recommend these to anyone with younger kids.

I discovered these today my son woke up with the flu, headache , congestion, and he refused to eat anything. Just wanted to be in bed which for him is not normal he’s autistic and is constantly jumping around having a good old time. So I tried these and with in 30 minutes he was back to himself. I was shocked nothing has ever worked that fast or effectively. I will be buy more to add to my medicine stock for sure.

As a mom of an autistic kiddo, it's always super hard when they fall sick. Luckily this Mucinex chew made it just a bit easier! Value for the money is a bit off but everything these days is expensive with the dosage information. You really don’t have that many days of $14 per time that they get sick is a bit steep, but it still works.

I normally have a hard time with my kiddo Taking meds she hates liquids they make her puke. I was worried she would hate the gummy but hope she took it like a champ. She feel suit this past weekend and I found these and with fingers crossed hoped they would work for her and took them no problem. The gummy was a bit bigger than a normal gummy but it wasn’t an issue for her and no strange taste according to her they are berry flavored and worked great she was feeling better by day 3. Helped with her sore throat and congestion.

this is a good and recommend for children that likes chewy s that you need to give her medicine this medicine is really good for a cold flu etc

Bought these recently because my youngest was sick. I hadn’t seen cold medicine in gummy form before and since our kids hate the liquid we decided to try it. He did not complain about having to take any meds this time and the relief was quick. I wish there were more for the price but this was a pleasant purchase.

My 7 year old has bad allergies and gets sick easily. Any virus will flare her asthma. When school started back, I bought these to help her instead of drinking the Mucinex. She didn’t like the taste of the liquid, but she hated these even more. The taste and consistency needs improved for kiddos.

--Honestly you would think as a chewable it would be easier to eat but it is in fact NOT. this is a gummy chewable, not a dissolving tablet and does not dissolve in the mouth with ease. They are pretty big considering it is for a child which makes it more difficult for you to eat it quickly.. it does not dissolve in your mouth but will be very difficult to swalllw because it tastes like a bitter crushed up pill with sugar. My son tried to eat it and barely swallowed it , in fact, he almost threw up. I tried to eat one myself and could not get past the taste and texture and I threw up instantly.

I really love mucinex products for myself and my kids because it helps with the mucous and congested feeling nasal/chest uncomfortability. I love the concept of these for children that detest liquid medicine but these truly missed the mark taste wise. I tried them before I administered them to my children and I could barely tolerate them. They were bitter and sugar coated which is a texture issue for some. I can do bitter when necessary as I am an adult. But fighting a child to get these down was almost impossible. And the taste lingers. With liquid it’s a quick distasteful administration and the taste doesn’t linger but these gummie chews left and right awful taste in the mouth. My kids were soooo upset and they were already sick so this just made things worse. They work but at what cost? It wasn’t worth it. I do not advise any parent out there already sick kid through this if there are other options available use the other options (IMO)

I had high hopes for this product since my kids really struggle with traditional syrup cold medicine, and the gummy format seemed like a great alternative. Unfortunately, the flavor was a big drawback for us. The gummies are fairly large and have an immediate mix of bitter and fruity tastes that my kids found unpleasant, which made them hesitant to take them. I really like the concept and appreciate the idea behind it, but the product just wasn't good for my kiddos. I’d love to see improvements to the taste and texture because it could be a fantastic option otherwise.
