OK, so we've had lots of experience with products like these. I feel like we've tried it all. ($$$!) The NoseFrida worked great, but I swear that every time I used it, I ended up getting sick too. Then we resorted to a regular bulb syringe from the hospital, but those are so tough to use to clear those baby noses. Plus they grossed me out because there was no way to clean it. (Not to mention I couldn't see how effective it was). We also invested in a battery powered nose sucker (Graco). That works well, but there is a learning curve and it's LOUD! So scary for baby. Enter the Munchkin ClearNose. (Insert hallelujah choir sound effect) It's like the nose sucker trifecta: It's quiet. It's *visibly* effective, and easy to clean! Hooray! If your little one has a cold, go out right now and get one of these. Even if your little one isn't sick, you should still get one because they all get sick eventually and you'll want to have this on hand. Or buy it for a baby shower gift. Seriously. (I received one of these as a sample, in exchange for my unbiased review, but I would have bought one anyway.)
I love that I am able to help my baby be able to breath better without using a ton of medicine. The different tips make it really easy to use. I feel so much better that I don't have to use a bulb. The amount of mold that grows inside those is disgusting, so having an option that does not include drugs or mold makes this one happy momma!
love this thing I highly recommend. works better then anything I've used before and quick.
Ive used a few other brands and this one's my favorite! Easiest to clean and doesn't need a filter each time. The different hole size tip options is genious and delicate for baby's nose for the other ones are a hole of the baby's nostril and it's not fun for the baby
I LOVE this nasal aspirator. I own the Nose Frida but it doesn't even come close to the quality and ease of use of this one. This one doesn't have filters to buy, which I LOVE. I can take it apart entirely and clean it. I love that it has different tips to accommodate different size nostrils. I also love that it comes in it's own case which makes it easy for travel. Best of all, it works great. My twins aren't huge fans, but it's effective and helps clear them right up. I was given this product to review in exchange for my honest opinion, but honestly I would have bought it anyway. It's seriously that good.
Better than Frida snot sucker! Each part clicks and locks into place, dishwasher safe on the top rack, and easy to use. We used this everyday during allergy season and love that it has different sizes to use as baby gets older. I give this gift at every baby shower.
I had the nose frida and it was just ok. Not the easiest to use. My mother in law accidentally bought this and OMG am I so so thankful. This is 1000X better than the nose frida. Easier to get boogies out, easier to clean and you don't have to buy filters! No brainer!
Works good but im constantly getting snot in my mouth I wish it came with some sort of filter. Other then that its the only thing that works to get the snot out.
It's difficult to suck up boogers and the suction is weak, doesn't pull up mucus well at all. Don't recommend it. Bulbs work better than this thing! I have the nose Frieda which works the best out of the three choices.
The suction head needs to be softer, the baby's nose is very vulnerable. All 3 sizes are not suitable for babies from 0-6 months. I hope the product can be improved in the future
