Musselman's Apple Butter, 17 oz Jar

Super yummy! Can't think of anything that tastes better than Musselman's Apple Butter. This is the perfect size jar for me living alone. The big jar is too much. I wanted to buy a box of the individual portions but they don't sell them anymore here. When my boyfriend was alive he and I bought individual servings of all kinds of stuff like jelly and crackers and graham crackers and everything so no waste. Wish they'd sell those again. I continue to buy individual portions of stuff and share with my neighbors.

This is the most delicious spread for biscuits, buns, toast, etc. The taste is the best of all the apple butter spreads I have had over the years. We won't ever settle for less.

Musselman's Apple Butter showed me that there is a difference in apple butters. For this review, I compared Musselman's to another well known brand. The difference was much greater than I expected. The first thing that I noticed was the label. In a blue stripe at the top, it proudly proclaims, “NO High Fructose Corn Syrup” and I began to wonder about the other brand I had in the fridge. Upon inspection, the other brand is made with the corn syrup but the difference doesn’t end there. The other brand’s ingredients: apples, apple cider, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup [that’s no typo, two types of corn syrup], natural flavors, salt. In contrast, Musselman's ingredients are simply: apples, sugar and spices (cinnamon and cloves). The products also differ in taste and texture. Musselman's has a great taste that’s just the right amount of sweet for me. After tasting it, the other brand was almost sickeningly sweet. Musselman's texture is rich and almost creamy in contrast to the other brand which is thin and runny by comparison. There is a difference in apple butter and Musselman's will be the brand that I stick with in the future.

I haven't got enough words in my vocabulary to say how much I enjoyed this Apple Butter. It is so very tasty that it brought back a childhood memory of my Mom serving it with Potato Pancakes. Oh yum-yum. It's tasty and smooth and it will be a staple in my house forever.

This apple butter comes in a 17 oz. jar and it is labeled a Homestyle taste. It has no sodium, zero fat, no cholesterol, and only 6 grams of sugar. It does have a homestyle consistancy and also a home made taste to it. When you open the jar for the first time, it smells similar to an apple pie. This apple butter is creamy and when scooping it out of the jar, it is a rather thick mixture and does not run off of your spoon. Although it is rather thick in nature, it is also very creamy, smooth, and I would say it is very tasty. I thought that it may have a bit of a gritty texture, but it doesn't. I kind of expected a sort of ho hum taste when I selected it. It is a great complement to your morning toast. I added a little butter to my toast and then spread on this apple butter. I believe the next time that I will skip the butter and go straight to the apple butter itself. Musselman's Apple Butter, you do win the taste test!

This apply butter is very good. I have always loved Musselman products. I would recommend this to everyone and would buy it for myself.

Oh my....you are going to love this Musselman's Apple Butter! It tastes very good spread on your morning favorite toast or bagel with a fresh, hot, cup of coffee or even some hot chocolate! Some apple butter's can taste kind of pasty...but this apple butter is very smooth and super easy to spread. It contains No High Fructose Corn Syrup and is Gluten Free! It has no fat, cholesterol, sodium or preservatives. Just the natural great taste of apples with a hint of cinnamon. It makes a great afternoon snack on crackers for my granddaughter's... when they come home from school. At only 30 calories per tablespoon anyone can enjoy a little bit of this luxury. I can see why Musselman's has been in the business of making great apple butter for 80 years. Healthy and great tasting too! Who can ask for more than that?!

I LOVE MUSSELMAN"S APPLEBUTTER. I LOVE THE TASTE OF IT. IT REMINDS ME OF BEING A LITTLE GIRL. I LOVE HAVING IT ON BUTTERED TOAST IN THE MORNINGS. AND IT IS REALLY GOOD FOR YOU. MUSSELMANS APPLEBUTTER IS LOW IN SODIUM TOO. WHICH IS GREAT BECAUSE MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN TOLD TO WATCH HIS SODIUM .WITH NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. AND IT IS A GLUTEN FREE PRODUCT. ALL THESE ARE GREAT THINGS. MUSSELMANS APPLEBUTTER IS ALSO. PRICED LOWER THAN THE OLD BRAND NAME PRODUCTS. I LOVE MUSSELMANS APPLE PRODUCTS. FROM APPLEBUTTER TO APPLE SAUCE CUP. Paid WAY too much for it! I didn't realize it was such a small jar. $15 for this item?! You guys should be ashamed! Due to your overpricing and the bad experiences every time I have used the Walmart App (4) I decided to delete the app from my phone so I won't be tempted to use it in the future.
