I love this portable hair dryer! So far I've only given myself hot moisturizing treatments, but I also plan to roll my hair and see how long it takes to dry. It fit my hairdryer with no problems, and my head with no problems. It heats up nicely... not too hot. I really like it.

It's absolutely ridiculous, but it beats holding the diffuser for the hour of dry time! I do still have to go in at the root with a diffuser, but everything else dries adequately. So no, it doesn't reduce drying time for curly hair, but it gives you the freedom to go hands-free. I take the liberty to apply my nighttime routine; you can do your makeup, but keep in mind that the strap will get in the way if applying makeup around the jawline. To diffuse, I flipped my head down to get all the hair into the cap. I first did the drawstring and then the strap. (It's all necessary because it will fly off or not contain all the air if you don't do both.) I did add a claw clip at the top of my head before I flipped my hair to add volume, and it didn't get tangled once I turned on my hairdryer. I do have a shark, but I imagine it would work with any basic hair dryer, if anything, just tape that sucker on and it should hold. For curly girls: Keep the setting on high to maximize airflow and keep it cool if possible, so you don't get frizz!

I have a 10 year old hair dryer. The plastic part that connects to hose broke after 15 years of use. This item fits perfectly over the old hose and the dryer drys my hair well. So happy I found this item!

I have a LOT of hair and am starting to use mousse and set with rollers, for a different look than just letting my curly hair dry naturally. I want to buy a salon-style hairdryer,but went with this until I can afford the more expensive hair dryer. Amazingly, this thing works pretty well! Using my high-powered dryer, I got way more drying action than with the old countertop dryer I had! I recommend this thing, works pretty well!

got this to use on blow dryer to make it a hooded dryer. works great to deep condition and dry coils/twists.

This worked out really well. It was very convenient and effective. It saves money and space compared to the dryer you have to sit under.

Not very effective or efficient. The e heat comes from the bottom and dries out my hair faster on the bottom than it does on the top.
