I am really enjoying my new ‘My Texas House 22" Urn Table Lamp’. It is just the right size for my nightstand. It has a distressed texture and a black finish. Surprisingly, it nearly matches my decorative elephant! I did not realize that the lamp I had beside the bed was actually too bright for the room until I put this lamp there instead. It has a modern elegant look and looks so much better in the room. The sixty inch power cord is clear plastic and is nearly unnoticeable, and there is a 2 way rotary switch on the socket. There is a one year limited warranty on this lamp. This lamp would look great in nearly any room of the house. Delivery was quick and the packaging was wonderful. The ceramic base was kept safely in place with Styrofoam packaging and the parts were separately wrapped so they did not get scratched during shipment. After I took it out of the box, assembly was very quick and easy. I am really impressed that the instruction sheet makes it very clear how to do it. You do not need any tools to put it together. I think it took me about five minutes.

We love these lamps! Originally I got it for the living room, but my husband took it for the bedside lamp. It gives a great look to any place that you put it. I do love the black one because a decorator once told me that every room needs a touch of black in the decor. Whether this is true or not I don't know, but I do know this is a beautiful lamp and I could put it anywhere. Very versatile. I love the shade too! Very happy with it and highly recommend it.

This lamp is lovely. I wanted a simple, yet elegant, lamp that was a good size for my nightstand. This one is perfect. It has an off-white shade and a dark brown textured base. The texture is noticeable from close-up but at a distance it looks like a solid dark brown base. The quality is top notch. The base is durable and heavy, the bars that hold up the shade match the base and every inch of this lamp looks finished. It came well packaged without a single scratch or bend in the shade. The listing said it came with a light bulb that I must have missed in the packaging. So be careful with the packaging and make sure you find all that it comes with before putting the box in the recycle bin. The cord is regular length and reaches the plug next to the nightstand with ease. The lamp is turned off and on by a twist knob near the light bulb. The size of the base and shade is exactly what I was looking for. It is on the larger size of lamps and could be used for an end table lamp in the living room. Two would look amazing on matching nightstands or end tables. The style could fit into modern rustic and classic decor. I like how it looks on our black nightstand as it has just enough brown for it to stand out against the black.

My Texas House 22 Urn Table Lamp, Distressed Texture, Black Finish came about a week ago. I like that its not to big just the right size. The Distressed Texture makes it more rustic. Everything fit together perfectly. I have it my room right now near the bed its so easy to reach and turn on!

Nice lamp base and shade. Looks more expensive than it is.
