My Texas House Monroe 3 Drawer Nightstand with USB, Brushed Oak Finish

Listen guys, I read the reviews and I did the research. I almost bought these multiple times and ended up talking myself out of it. I finally took the chance and I’m so glad I did. They do have to be assembled. They ARE heavy but they are easy to assemble and they are beautiful. I will be going back and buying the dresser now.

The look and function of this nightstand set is amazing for the price!!! It looks beautiful in our master. I absolutely love it. If you’re looking for a dresser/nighstand on a budget i highly recommend. It is extremely tedious and time consuming to put together though. So just prepare yourself! 8/10!

Purchased the dresser and the nightstand set and spent roughly 760 something dollars on these products. They do take hours to put together. My husband has worked all day, came home and has put an item together each day. The very last nightstand, the very last drawer, was defective. The face of the drawer did not add up, and therefore the drawer could not be used. We called Walmart Customer service to see if there was an option to send out a single part. Because this is a Walmart product there is no option for that. They wanted us to disassemble BOTH nightstands and put them back in the original packaging and shipped them back to them! They did offer for somebody to come and pick them up. I told them that I’m not gonna have my husband disassemble these because they are huge and would take him forever to do so after it took him so long to get these together after a full work day. The furniture is beautiful and sturdy and worth every penny but with this kind of quality of furniture, you would think they would have some kind of parts distribution.

The assembly was the worst one ever done, and I w done plenty. The weight of the box was insane. I ordered two and it took one entire day to unpack and assemble two nightstands. Every last detail was to be put together. Nightmare. Particle board is why so heavy. Paint and product is excellent. Not a single mark. Putting the drawers in after assembling them was also a nightmare.

I absolutely LOVE these nightstands!!! They make our bedroom feel more cozy with the warm wood tone. They were really easy to assemble, with easy to follow directions. Very sturdy! My only criticism is that once the drawers are locked in place, it appears they can't be removed, and if they can, there's no instruction how to do that.

I purchased this nightstand and followed the assembly instructions carefully, but the top panel detached completely during normal setup. The particle board is very soft, and the screws tore out with minimal tightening. I’ve built many flat-pack furniture pieces before and have never had this issue. The construction quality just isn’t durable enough for normal assembly. Customer service agreed to accept a return, but disassembling a damaged product is an added inconvenience. Visually it’s a nice piece, but the materials and structure need improvement.

If you plan to buy these dressers, do not purchase the 2 pack. We unfortunately had to return the dressers because they didn’t fit. Walmart only allowed me to refund each dresser separately instead of as a 2 pack. Because of that, one dresser processed and was returned back to my credit card. For the other dresser, their system had an error processing that one. So they told my husband to come back with it next day. He went back, and they wouldn’t refund me the second dresser to my credit card and gave it to me as store credit. So half was given back to us and half is store credit which we did not want. I never shop at Walmart so store credit does not suffice. We wanted all of our money back. And to top it off, they wouldn’t take the dresser back (box unopened) so now we’re stuck with the dresser! Do not buy the two pack. Purchase one at a time if you want to get these, or better yet, don’t shop at Walmart. They don’t follow their own return policy.

I would give this zero stars if I could. This furniture is crap, it looks nice but has a HORRIBLE smell. Like toxic chemical! I could not keep this around my family, my dog. It CAN NOT be safe. I bought the whole set and assembled everything, thinking the smell would go away after a day or two. After a little over a week of having it built and not being used, the smell was still there. I had headaches every night for the whole week. The agent I spoke to on the phone was helpful and eventually initiated the return of the assembled items but of course, messed up in their system and has now caused a MESS that I’ve been trying to clean up for months. I still have not received my full refund. I have proof that the items were picked up AND delivered back to Walmart and I still do not have all my money back. I’m getting the run around every single time I call to get the status of my refund. DO NOT BUY THIS. IGNORE THE INFLUENCERS PROMOTING IT!!!

These are not at all together. Every drawer needs to be assembled. Every top, bottom and side of the stand needs assembly. Previous nightstands I have bought just needed the nobs on them. This is a major project! Also the box is ridiculously heavy, I had to disassemble the boxes and bring it in the house piece by piece. The book to put it together is 34 pages!

Don’t buy. 1. It is ugly and looks cheap. 2. I returned it via a scheduled pickup but Walmart said they never received it and after talking to over 5 customer service agents (who all promised a refund that never came - also some of the agents were difficult to understand due to a language barrier) and spending literal hours on the phone I am having to attempt to dispute with my CC company which I have never had to do before. I am owed $388.93 from Walmart. My husband and I opened one box to see the material and my husband said absolutely not ew it looks so cheap and fake. Ended up buying the real pottery barn nightstands and dresser this is supposed to be a dupe of instead. If you can afford it, just buy the real thing. And if you can’t afford it, buy pretty painted wood like at home goods or buy antiques off FB marketplace that is real wood. Do not buy this. It is very fake looking and Walmarts customer service is difficult to deal with
