Mypurmist 2 Essential Kit Plus Steam Inhaler + Handsfree Strap (Plug-in)

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of steam and duration of the single use water tube. It's easy to hold to complete the treatment. I could sit comfortably instead of being uncomfortable with a unit that had to sit on a table. This device helped me to feel better in a day or two (using it twice a day). Worth the expense!

This is a nice, workable unit. This unit replaces an older version I had from many years ago. The outside packaging looked a bit worn and the "scent pad" that was included said, "Use Before 05-2020" and I received this unit 09-2021, so it was quite past the "use before" date --- but inside the packaging, the unit was in excellent condition.

Best inhaler I've ever seen. Very warm but controllable mist is excellent to mobilize cilia and sooth inflamed mucosa. Great plan to use their pure water to avoid salting with multiple uses. Sorry I paid $180 for it's battery driven predecessor but happy camper now.

Works great for targeted sinus relief. I had a bad sinus ache and it helped me feel better. But also a humidifier at nighttime could do the same. Still love for when it gets bad.

It overheats. It can easily burn your face even at lowest setting!!! Do not recommend.

Unfortunately my unit lasted less than 2 months after purchase. It stopped providing steam and only worked intermittently and then it auto-shuts off. I've contacted the manufacturer and submitted a warranty claim. They replied with suggestions that did not work for me. Still waiting to see if they will honor a replacement.

I bought both the My PurMist Cordless and the My PurMist 2. They both looked beat up on arrival...boxes were ripped and damaged. Both inhalers did not work. Both lit up for less than a minute but could not stay on. No steam came out and they both did not heat up. They are both defective products. No wonder they are priced lower than other sellers. I would not buy anything sold and shipped by eLGeo Corp. through Walmart. I'm not even going to request an exchange because their products are defective. What a waste of time! Returning both for a full refund. [Note: The My pUrmist inhalers themselves work great because I've used both before but I would not buy from eLGeo Corp through Walmart.]

I bought one of these several years ago and it failed after 3-4 uses. Fool me once, shame on you. Seeing that the company had survived all these years I decided to give them a second chance despite the high price of convenience they charge. Fool me twice, shame on me. The first thing I noted was the chemical smell coming from the package, and particularly the mask. I don't know what it was, but it reminded me of the very unhealthy dibutylphthalate that is in so many "imported" plastics. The smell did not wash off with soap and water. I decided to proceed with a test run before putting that smell into my lungs. The first thing that failed was the "convenient" little bottles of sterile water. When the tab broke off as directed, the bottle was still sealed and had to be carved open. The unit is filled via a tiny hole on the back. This cleverly makes you dependent on buying more little bottles should you wish to use your own distilled water. The unit began to leak immediately upon filling, though I did not overfill according to the fill-level window. I decided then and there to return the unit, so I let it run to empty it for shipping. It did produce a quantity of warm, though foul smelling steam. It bubbled and spit and delivery was not smooth or even. When the unit was finally empty, I turned off the switch but the unit kept running. I assumed this was a drying cycle, but 20 minutes later it was still running and did not stop until I unplugged it. In conclusion, don't buy this product. In my opinion it is an overpriced, poorly designed and badly manufactured gimmick made from questionably safe plastic. It doesn't do anything special, and an old fashioned vaporizer would work much better.

So I ordered this and it was delivered to my house upon opening it. There was something completely different. (6 copper LED candles) So I took it to the store, and I also called Walmart customer support and told him what was going on! They instructed me to take it back to the store and do a return and let them know! I did that and now Walmart is saying that I made a fraudulent return because it wasn't what I ordered in the box
